Your Gamerscore is a useful summary, but it does not show which achievements you have earned or how close you are to the next one. For a separate collection view, TrueAchievements offers optional tracking and completion-planning features; a spreadsheet or notes app can preserve a manually maintained milestone log.
How do I track my Xbox achievements?
Use the Xbox profile and the achievement list for the specific game you want to check. The profile provides an account-level view; a game’s list is where you can inspect its individual achievements and progress. Microsoft’s developer documentation describes achievement progress and a player’s achievement state, but it is not a consumer-facing guarantee about how quickly every game or interface refreshes. Microsoft’s achievement overview also discusses a developer scenario in which achievement state is cached locally.
Because Xbox menus and features change, treat exact navigation labels as version-dependent. Look for your profile’s achievements area or open the game’s own achievement list, rather than relying on a single Gamerscore figure as a complete history.
What do Xbox’s newer achievement views add?
Gaming tab and Mythic Achievements
On September 29, 2026, Xbox Wire announced Mythic Achievements and a Gaming tab for Xbox Insiders. The announcement describes achievement and Gamerscore milestone tracking, completed games, and a progress bar in each game’s achievement list. That announcement establishes an Insider feature, not availability to every Xbox player. Xbox PC game hubs
Xbox described an achievements section in its PC game hubs that shows overall achievement and Gamerscore progress, hero stats, and next unlocks. When is an independent tracker useful?
TrueAchievements is an independent service, not Xbox’s official account record. The service describes tools for organizing a game collection, viewing progress across game series, tracking achievements, and setting completion goals. Its app listing also describes a personal games list with progress. These are capabilities stated by the service; they should not be treated as a guaranteed permanent backup or a replacement for checking your Xbox account. If you want a dated record outside Xbox and any third-party service, use a spreadsheet or notes app and enter milestones yourself. A simple log can include the date, game, achievement, and any personal note that matters to you. This is a manual record: it does not sync with Xbox, and keeping it current is your responsibility.
