Open YouTube Studio → Earn → Memberships to check cancellations for the past billing period, compare that period with the previous one, and review any cancellation feedback members submitted. For trends over a custom date range, use Analytics → Audience → Total Member → See More and compare members gained, members canceled, and members lost. These measures describe different stages of the membership cycle, so a cancellation does not always mean the member has already lost access to perks.
Where to see canceled YouTube channel members
- Sign in to YouTube Studio and select Earn, then Memberships.
- Review the Memberships cards: Total members, Active members, Revenue, Members by level, Sign-ups and cancellations, and Cancellation Feedback.
- Use Sign-ups and cancellations to see the past billing period’s figures and compare them with the previous period. This card is not a custom-date historical report.
- To examine a longer or custom trend, go to Analytics → Audience → Total Member → See More. Inspect the time series for Total and Active members, Members Gained, Members Canceled, and Members Lost. The Key Metrics card charts gained or lost members over time.
- For current-member information, use the CSV snapshot export in the Memberships tab. YouTube says the export may take a few minutes. It is a snapshot of member information, not a documented historical cancellation log.
Members canceled and members lost are different
YouTube Help’s guidance on analyzing and managing channel memberships distinguishes cancellation from the end of perk access:
- Total members are people who currently have access to perks. This includes some members who have canceled but still have access for the rest of their billing period.
- Active members are total members minus canceled members. YouTube describes them as members with active subscriptions.
- Members canceled counts cancellation events in Analytics.
- Members lost are canceled members who have lost access to perks after their billing period ended.
As YouTube Help puts it, Members Lost are “canceled members who lost access to perks as a result of the end of their billing period.” A member can therefore appear in total members after canceling, then move into members lost when the remaining access period ends. Do not use current perk access by itself as evidence that a subscription is still active.
How to compare cancellation trends fairly
When comparing periods or membership levels, use the same measures and equivalent time windows. Compare cancellations alongside members gained, members lost, active and total membership, and membership revenue. The Memberships card covers the past billing period and offers a comparison with the previous one; Analytics lets you select a custom time period.

#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Keep billing timing in view: YouTube says a billing period can be 28, 30, or 31 days, depending on the calendar month. A cancellation and the eventual loss of perk access may fall in different reporting periods. For that reason, a rise in canceled members may not show up as an equal rise in members lost at the same time.
Cancellation Feedback can help explain some departures, but it is not complete feedback from every departing member. Some members select one of YouTube’s predefined multiple-choice reasons; others may not provide a reason.

What Indian channel owners should know about recurring payments
YouTube’s India billing guidance says that, due to Reserve Bank of India eMandate requirements, members may have to verify or re-enter payment details to maintain access to recurring memberships. This is a member-side payment requirement, not proof that a particular cancellation was caused by eMandate verification. The cited guidance does not quantify any effect on cancellation rates or specify an India-specific reporting delay.
YouTube says a member who cancels is not charged again unless they reactivate, and keeps access to perks until the end of the current billing period. YouTube also says there is no refund for the unused part of that period.

Limits of the available cancellation reporting
YouTube’s documented tools provide period comparisons, Analytics time series, cancellation feedback from some members, and a CSV snapshot of current member information. The cited guidance does not document an India-specific cancellation-rate benchmark or a member-by-member historical cancellation export. YouTube mentions third-party integrations for learning about members and perks, but that guidance does not establish which integrations provide historical cancellation records or confirm their current India availability and data practices.
Use the Studio and Analytics metrics to follow your channel’s own changes; do not infer a national churn rate from them. The cited YouTube Help guidance does not publish a cancellation-rate statistic for Indian channels.
