Keep the old device and game installation intact until you confirm the right farm appears; Zynga says progress is saved on the device by default and warns that uninstalling the game may reset it.
First, make sure you have the right FarmVille 2
These steps apply to the mobile game FarmVille 2: Country Escape, not necessarily the separate FarmVille 2 browser game. Check the game title before proceeding. Zynga’s FarmVille 2: Country Escape support site covers the mobile title.
Choose the account for your move

These are account-based recovery methods, not cable transfers. Game Center alone will not recover an iOS farm on Android, and Google Play alone will not recover an Android farm on iOS. Zynga describes these account requirements in its FarmVille 2: Country Escape recovery guidance.
Transfer the farm safely
- On the old device, open the existing farm. Do not delete the game, reset the device, or start by moving files.
- Check the account linked to the farm. Confirm or link Game Center on iOS, Google Play on Android, or Facebook if you need to move between platforms. Do this from the existing farm, before switching devices.
- Install FarmVille 2: Country Escape on the new device from its official app store.
- Sign in with the same linked account. Make sure the new device is using the exact Game Center, Google Play, or Facebook account associated with the original farm.
- Open the game and verify the farm. Check the farm identity and visible progress before removing or changing anything on the old device.
Zynga says, “By design, a farm is saved on the device and it is always preferred to link or associate your game progress on a social networking account for sync and recovery purposes.” A fresh install is not itself a backup. Keep the old installation until the correct farm has loaded: Zynga’s iOS troubleshooting guidance warns that uninstalling and reinstalling may reset progress and specifically says it does not recommend uninstalling this game.

If the old farm was never linked
If you still have the old device, preserve it and try to link the existing farm to the appropriate account before moving. Zynga says the farm is saved on the device by design; the official guidance does not promise recovery of an unlinked farm after the device is lost or reset, or after the game is removed.
Anonymous Mode lets you play without Facebook, but playing anonymously should not be treated as a cloud recovery copy. If you cannot access the farm or linked account, contact Zynga Player Support and provide the player ID if available. Recovery is not guaranteed.

If the farm does not appear on the new device
- Stop before unlinking accounts, overwriting progress, or uninstalling the game.
- Check that the new device is signed into the same platform or Facebook account used by the original farm.
- For a cross-platform move, confirm that Facebook was linked to the original farm; a Game Center or Google Play connection alone is not the cross-platform recovery route.
- If the account is correct and the farm is still missing, contact Zynga Player Support with the player ID and explain which devices and accounts are involved.
Apple’s U.S. App Store listing identifies the app as a Zynga title and points players toward Zynga support and player-ID help. Account-linking labels can change, so follow the labels shown in the current version of the game rather than relying on an outdated tap-by-tap path.
