It moves selected Pal data—not your character, inventory, buildings, map progress, or entire save.
Transfer Pals between worlds
- In the source world: Craft and use a Global Palbox. Follow the prompts shown in your version of the game to save the Pal data you want to take with you. The basic workflow is described in this Game8 walkthrough; interface details may differ by game version.
- In the destination world: Use a Global Palbox to load or reconstruct the saved Pal data. Pocketpair introduced the feature as a way to store Pal data and transfer Pals between worlds in its v0.5.0 update notice, dated March 19, 2025.
What transfers—and what does not
The Global Palbox is for transferring Pals, not migrating a complete world save. Pocketpair describes it as storing Pal data and transferring Pals between worlds; the announcement does not say that your player character, inventory, buildings, or world progress transfer with them. See the official feature announcement for its stated scope.
Troubleshoot a dedicated server
On a dedicated server, export and import are controlled separately. If one direction fails, ask the server administrator to check the setting for that operation in the active PalWorldSettings.ini.
bAllowGlobalPalboxExportcontrols whether players can save Pals to the Global Palbox.bAllowGlobalPalboxImportcontrols whether players can load Pals from the Global Palbox.
These settings and the documented server file location are in Pocketpair’s dedicated-server configuration guide (version 1.0.4). Edit the active PalWorldSettings.ini at the path documented there. Changing DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini does not apply the live settings.

If the game interface looks different
The official server guide documents configuration settings, not an in-game button-by-button sequence. Use the prompts shown by your current game version rather than relying on a particular button label or menu path; the feature’s purpose and the server’s separate export/import controls are the details confirmed by the cited sources.
