Roblox’s US gift-card terms say Credit is not transferable. If you mean Robux instead, Roblox has separate, eligibility-limited ways to send or gift it; a gift card is another option, but it adds new value to the recipient’s account rather than moving your existing balance.
Roblox Credit and Robux are different
Roblox Credit is the account balance created by redeeming an eligible gift card. Roblox says to view and use it in a web browser; it can be used to buy Robux when the account has enough Credit. Credit is not shown or usable in Roblox mobile apps. Under Roblox’s US gift-card terms, Credit cannot be transferred. Roblox’s Credit guidance and US gift-card terms explain how it works.
Robux is a separate virtual currency. Roblox’s terms describe Robux as digital content licensed for use on Roblox, not as a way to transfer money or value. Roblox does provide specific features for sending or gifting Robux, but those features do not make Roblox Credit transferable. Roblox’s Terms of Use
Ways to give someone Roblox value

How to send Robux with Roblox’s transfer feature
These steps apply to the official Robux transfer feature, not Roblox Credit. Review the recipient’s username and amount before sending: Roblox says completed transfers are final and cannot be reversed.
- Check eligibility. The sender must have Roblox Plus. Users aged 16 or older must complete an Age Check. Users under 16 need a linked parent account, and parental approval is required for each send or receipt. Some regions require parent approval for users under 18. The recipient does not need a Roblox Plus subscription.
- Open the recipient’s profile or the Buy Robux page. Roblox lists both as starting points for a transfer.
- Enter the amount, review the transfer details, and select Send.
- The recipient gets a pending notification and must select Accept. After the transfer completes, the Robux is added to their balance.
Roblox lists standard limits of up to 500 Robux per day and 1,000 Robux per month. Users with 2-Step Verification enabled and in good standing may qualify for limits of up to 5,000 per day and 10,000 per month. These are Roblox’s operational limits, which it says are subject to change. Robux received by transfer is not eligible for DevEx and can only be spent on Roblox items. How to give a gift card instead
If you want to give someone new Roblox value, give them a Roblox gift card and have them redeem it while logged in to their own account. That creates value for the recipient; it does not move Credit already redeemed on your account. Protect your account and balance
- Use Roblox’s official features rather than off-platform deals. Roblox warns that deals outside official trade and sale features are not protected, and it cannot return items or Robux lost in those deals. Roblox’s trading guidance
- Do not send Robux to someone who says it is needed to verify your account. Roblox says it will never ask users to send Robux for verification or any other reason. Roblox Support
