Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTo turn on Fullbright in Hypixel SkyBlock, enable the brightness or gamma option in the Minecraft client or modification you already use. Hypixel lists brightness and gamma adjustment modifications as an allowed category, but it does not provide a universal menu path or keybind. The exact switch depends on your software.
Where to find the Fullbright setting
Check the settings for your Minecraft client or modification for a control labelled Fullbright, brightness, or gamma. Follow that software’s official instructions to enable it. Hypixel’s guidance does not identify a specific mod or client, or specify installation steps, menu labels, or keybinds, so there is no official set of universal instructions.
Is Fullbright allowed on Hypixel SkyBlock?
Hypixel Support’s Allowed Modifications guide, displayed as updated February 3, 2023, lists “Brightness & Gamma Adjustment Modifications” as an allowed category. It describes these as modifications that alter Minecraft’s brightness and gamma so players can see in darker areas.
The Hypixel SkyBlock Rules page, displayed as updated May 6, 2024, directs players to that modifications guide for more information.

How to reduce the risk of using a modification
- Get the modification from its official source, as Hypixel recommends.
- Check what the specific version does, including any features bundled with Fullbright. Hypixel disallows modifications that automate gameplay, provide a significant advantage, or alter how the client interacts with the server.
- Do not treat the category listing as approval of every mod, version, or bundled feature. Hypixel says it cannot review every modification version or guarantee that each one complies; it also says use of modifications on its server is at the player’s own risk.
