The Seliana Elder Melder offers it after the Viper Tobi-Kadachi hunt in “Ready to Strike.” In Rotten Vale, kill 15 Vespoids and 20 Hornetaurs to complete it.
How to unlock the quest
Progress through the Iceborne story until you have hunted Viper Tobi-Kadachi in “Ready to Strike.” Afterward, speak with the Elder Melder in Seliana; the quest walkthrough identifies her as the quest giver. It is an optional Master Rank quest, listed at M★2, with an MR3 eligibility condition in the quest database.

How to complete “Bugger Off Bugs!”

Hunt 15 Vespoids in Area 1
Start in Rotten Vale Area 1 and kill 15 Vespoids. The walkthrough suggests stones or ranged weapons. It also describes using two Clutch Claw hits to kill them without causing them to explode; these are guide suggestions, not independently tested tactics.

Hunt 20 Hornetaurs in Area 4
Move to Area 4 and kill 20 Hornetaurs. Check the quest objective counter to confirm both totals are complete before returning from the quest.
