To unlock Max Graphics and FPS in Call of Duty Mobile on a low-end Android phone, set Graphics Quality to Low, choose the highest Frame Rate tier COD Mobile actually displays, disable heavy effects, and keep the phone cool. COD Mobile may still restrict Max, Ultra, 90 FPS, or 120 FPS by device and game build.
Activision’s minimum Android requirement is Android 6.0 or newer with at least 2 GB of RAM, but that baseline only establishes compatibility. It does not promise high graphics, high FPS, or stable performance.

Key takeaways
- COD Mobile does not universally expose maximum graphics or 90/120 FPS; available tiers are gated by the device and current game build.
- Activision’s Android compatibility baseline is Android 6.0 or newer with at least 2 GB of RAM, but that baseline does not promise high graphics or high FPS.
- For weak phones, Low graphics plus the highest frame-rate option actually shown is usually the best starting point.
- A stable 60 FPS is generally more useful than a higher target that drops after the phone heats up.
- A 120 Hz screen can display high-refresh output, but it does not guarantee that COD Mobile will render at 120 FPS.
- Ping and packet loss are network problems; low rendered FPS, stutter, and heat are device or game-performance problems.
How to unlock Max Graphics and FPS in Call of Duty Mobile on a low-end Android phone
Open COD Mobile’s Settings, choose Audio and Graphics, set Graphics Quality to Low, and select the highest Frame Rate tier the game displays. Disable heavy effects, use the phone’s highest stable refresh rate, and test Multiplayer and Battle Royale separately. If Max, Ultra, 90 FPS, or 120 FPS remains unavailable after an official update and restart, the phone or game build is restricting the option.

What Android phones officially support COD Mobile?
Activision states that “Call of Duty: Mobile is compatible with Android devices with at least 2 GB of RAM and running Android 6.0 and up.” You can verify the requirement in Activision’s official Call of Duty: Mobile support guidance, dated February 25, 2026.

- Linear damping telescopic clip: easy to adjust, pay attention! Suitable for all types of mobile phones with a width of "6 to 7.5 centimeters". NEVEIKIA mobile phone cooling can cool down when connected to a power source.(Attention: It is best to remove the phone case when using it for a better experience!)
- Quick cooling: Dual engine, cooling principle is the same as a refrigerator, not ordinary fan cooling. It can cool your phone in "3 to 5 seconds", avoiding overheating and ensuring a stable live streaming or gaming experience.
- Dual power supply design: supports powering the radiator through a mobile phone, and can also be connected to an external power source for use; When connected to an external power source, it can provide stable power to both the radiator and the phone, avoiding interruption of heat dissipation due to insufficient power during long-term use and ensuring continuous and stable heat dissipation performance.
- Silent engine cooling: The fan with dual silent design can effectively dissipate air from all directions, providing stronger cooling effect without interfering with your games or Vlog programs.
- Expanded cooling area: Approximately 2.82x1.29 inches of extreme thermal conductivity cooling area, covering the CPU and battery module, protecting your phone from blackening or sudden shutdown.
That requirement is a compatibility floor, not a recommended specification for maximum graphics, high-refresh gaming, or stable performance. A phone can meet the 2 GB RAM and Android 6.0 minimum while still receiving a lower graphics ceiling, a 60 FPS cap, or severe thermal throttling.
Activision’s official Call of Duty: Mobile product page confirms Android support and the game’s configurable controls and multiple modes, but it does not provide a universal list of phones certified for every graphics or FPS tier.
What is the difference between unlocking, displaying, and sustaining FPS?
Unlocking an FPS option means COD Mobile makes a tier selectable; displaying FPS means the screen can present that output; sustaining FPS means the phone keeps rendering near the target during a real match.

|---|---|---|
| Unlocking an option | The game menu exposes High, Max, Ultra, or another frame-rate tier. | A selectable label is not a guarantee of measured FPS. |
| Displaying the output | The phone’s panel and refresh-rate mode can present the rendered frames. | A 90 Hz or 120 Hz display is only the screen’s ceiling. |
| Sustaining the target | The chipset and GPU maintain smooth frame delivery after gameplay and heat buildup. | Sustained performance is more important than a brief peak. |
A 120 Hz Android display may still receive only a 60 FPS CODM option. Conversely, a phone may expose Ultra or Max but become hot and stutter during a longer session. Graphics settings, the chipset/GPU, Android’s frame-rate policy, manufacturer software, the current game build, and temperature all affect the result.
How should you configure COD Mobile for the highest stable FPS?
Use this performance-first sequence on a low-end Android phone:
- Update safely. Install COD Mobile through the official Google Play Store or the phone maker’s official store. Restart the phone after updating. Keep more free storage than the package size because the game may need temporary working space and optional resource downloads. Activision listed the Android app at approximately 1.6 GB in Version 35.0 on December 8, 2025; the Version 35.0 update notice is a version-specific reference, not a permanent storage requirement.
- Open the correct menu. In COD Mobile, open Settings and select Audio and Graphics.
- Lower Graphics Quality. Choose Low. Lower rendering load gives the GPU more headroom for consistent frame delivery.
- Raise Frame Rate only as far as the menu allows. Select the highest displayed tier, such as High, Max, Ultra, or another available label. Do not treat the label as a guaranteed measured FPS number.
- Turn off expensive effects. Disable Depth of Field, Bloom, Real-time Shadows, Water Reflection, Godray, and Ragdoll when those controls are present in your build.
- Limit optional resources. Avoid downloading high-resolution resources if the phone has limited storage, memory, or thermal headroom.
- Retest after cooling. If the phone becomes hot or starts stuttering, reduce the FPS target by one step and test again. A stable lower target is preferable to an unstable nominal maximum.
Third-party settings references such as Pro Game Guides’ COD Mobile settings guide can provide practical starting points, but they are not universal device-certification lists. Menu names and available tiers can vary by device and game version.

How should Android itself be configured for COD Mobile?
Set the display to its highest stable refresh-rate mode, enable the manufacturer’s gaming or performance mode when it improves consistency, close unnecessary background apps, and avoid battery-saver restrictions that limit the game. Do not use a performance mode that causes severe overheating.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteAvoid playing while charging if charging substantially increases the phone’s temperature. Heat can reduce sustained performance even when the desired FPS tier was initially available. The goal is a stable thermal and frame-time profile, not merely the largest number shown in a menu or counter.
Why should Multiplayer and Battle Royale use separate tests?
Test Multiplayer and Battle Royale in several real matches because the two modes can place different demands on a low-end phone. Battle Royale may be more demanding because its larger environment and greater number of simultaneous assets increase rendering and memory pressure.
Judge performance by sustained smoothness, visible stutter, touch responsiveness, and heat—not only by a briefly displayed FPS number.
| Result | Likely action |
|---|---|
| Multiplayer is smooth but Battle Royale drops frames | Use a lower FPS target or more conservative effects for Battle Royale. |
| Both modes stutter after the phone heats up | Lower the frame-rate target, reduce effects, cool the phone, and retest. |
| Both modes are stable at the highest available tier | Keep the setting unless heat, battery drain, or later updates change performance. |
There is no requirement for Multiplayer and Battle Royale to use identical settings. Mode-specific stability is a sensible target on weaker hardware.
Why is Ultra FPS or Max Graphics missing in COD Mobile?
Ultra FPS or Max Graphics may be missing because COD Mobile gates options by device capability, manufacturer software, temperature, or the current game build. A high-refresh display alone does not force the game to expose a matching FPS tier.

Work through this checklist:
- Confirm that COD Mobile was updated from an official store.
- Restart both the game and the phone.
- Check the phone’s display refresh-rate setting.
- Disable battery saver and enable the manufacturer’s gaming profile if available.
- Free storage and remove unnecessary downloaded game resources.
- Set Graphics Quality to Low, then inspect the Frame Rate options again.
- Test after the phone has cooled.
- Compare Multiplayer with Battle Royale.
- Check whether the actual problem is ping or packet loss rather than rendering FPS.
- If the option is still unavailable, accept the device or build limitation.
Do not use a modified APK, root tweak, GFX tool, or unverified configuration file to force hidden options. Such methods are not established by the supplied official sources as authorized or reliable, can create instability or account risk, and cannot change the physical limits of a weak GPU or a phone that is throttling.
Can Wi-Fi fix low FPS in COD Mobile?
Wi-Fi can help with connection reliability, but Wi-Fi cannot make the GPU render more frames or unlock a graphics option that COD Mobile has withheld from the device. Activision recommends Wi-Fi for COD Mobile performance; its official Game Performance help section is the relevant support reference.
| Symptom | Problem type | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| High ping, rubber-banding, packet loss, disconnections | Network | Wi-Fi quality, router position, congestion, and internet stability. |
| Low rendered FPS, stutter, heat, delayed touch response | Device or game performance | Graphics load, FPS target, background apps, storage, temperature, and device capability. |
A better connection may reduce network interruptions, but it cannot guarantee 60, 90, or 120 rendered FPS.

Is stable 60 FPS better than unstable 90 or 120 FPS?
For many low-end Android phones, stable 60 FPS is better for play than an unstable higher target that causes heat-related drops and stutter. The best setting is the highest tier the phone can sustain through complete matches, not the highest tier it briefly exposes.
Use a higher target only when Multiplayer and Battle Royale remain smooth, the phone does not become excessively hot, and touch responsiveness stays consistent. If those conditions fail, lower the target one step and retest.

A more capable compatible Android phone may expose higher CODM frame-rate options and sustain them better, but no model should be promised a particular tier without model-specific testing. The official 2 GB RAM and Android 6.0 requirement confirms basic platform compatibility; it does not validate a phone for Max Graphics, Ultra FPS, 90 FPS, or 120 FPS.

Can every Android phone get 90 FPS or 120 FPS in COD Mobile?
COD Mobile does not guarantee 90 FPS or 120 FPS on every Android phone. The available frame-rate tiers depend on the device, manufacturer software, temperature, and current game build; a 90 Hz or 120 Hz display alone is not enough.
What are the best CODM settings for a weak Android phone?
Set Graphics Quality to Low, choose the highest Frame Rate tier COD Mobile displays, disable heavy effects such as shadows and Bloom, close background apps, use the highest stable display refresh rate, and keep the phone cool. Stable 60 FPS is often better than an unstable higher target.
Why does COD Mobile lag even when my FPS is high?
High ping, packet loss, and disconnections indicate network problems, while low rendered FPS, stutter, heat, and poor touch response indicate device or game-performance problems. Wi-Fi may improve connection reliability but cannot increase GPU-rendered FPS.
Why is Ultra FPS missing in COD Mobile?
If Ultra FPS or Max Graphics remains missing after an official update, restart, Android performance settings, Low graphics configuration, storage cleanup, and cooling, the option is probably gated by the device or game build. Avoid modified APKs, root tweaks, and unverified configuration files.
The Bottom Line
To maximize COD Mobile on a low-end Android phone, choose Low graphics, select the highest FPS tier the game actually offers, disable heavy effects, keep the phone cool, and test each mode separately. A 120 Hz display does not guarantee 120 FPS, and no safe configuration hack can replace hardware that COD Mobile has gated or that cannot sustain the load.
