Nosferatu’s required balls
The recipe requires three evolved balls: Vampire Lord, Mosquito King, and Spider Queen. Each needs its own pair of base balls:

Vampire and Brood Mother appear in two prerequisite recipes apiece. You will also need Dark and Egg Sac to complete the set. Which balls drop and when you can upgrade them depends on the run, so treat this as an ingredient checklist rather than a guaranteed route.
How to evolve the three ingredients into Nosferatu
- Build Vampire Lord from Vampire + Dark, Mosquito King from Vampire + Brood Mother, and Spider Queen from Brood Mother + Egg Sac.
- Level each of those three evolved balls to level 3. The Fusion Reactor reference describes Evolution as requiring the recipe’s level-3 ingredients.
- Collect a Fusion Reactor upgrade and open its available recipe choices.
- When Nosferatu is offered, choose Evolution. Keep the three required evolved ingredients available at level 3 for this final step.
At the reactor, Evolution and Fusion are different choices: Evolution creates an evolved ball from its required level-3 ingredients, while Fusion combines two unfused level-3 balls. For Nosferatu, select Evolution, not the two-ball Fusion option.

What Nosferatu does
Nosferatu spawns a vampire bat each time it bounces. The Special Balls reference lists the bat’s damage as 132–176 and says it seeks a random enemy before turning into a Vampire Lord. Treat that damage range as version-sensitive; it is a listed game-reference value, not a guarantee for every build.
If the Nosferatu recipe does not appear
- Check that you have all three pure evolved ingredients: Vampire Lord, Mosquito King, and Spider Queen.
- Confirm each is level 3. Having the right names at a lower level does not meet the reactor’s stated Evolution condition.
- Make sure you are checking the Fusion Reactor’s Evolution choices, rather than looking for Nosferatu under two-ball Fusion.
- If the recipe still does not appear, check the recipe shown in your current game build before assuming the run is bugged.
One fan guide’s heading uses the shorthand “Vampire Lord + Mosquito King,” but its detailed requirement includes Spider Queen; the wiki entry also lists all three ingredients. The three-ball recipe is therefore the better-supported instruction, while the in-game recipe is the practical check if your build differs: fan guide recipe page.

Kenny Sun’s July 28, 2026 PlayStation Blog post announcing The Naturalist described it as the final free content update and noted new characters and balls. It does not discuss Nosferatu or confirm that its recipe is unchanged across platforms or builds. The article’s listed ingredients and bat effect reflect the cited game references; check your current run if its reactor offers something different.
