To unlock Overtime Mode in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, earn Ending A: complete every Case in 72 Hour Mode, finish The Facts with Isabella, and reach the Heliport at noon on September 22. Then complete Overtime Mode to unlock Infinity Mode, the game’s endurance challenge.
How to unlock Overtime Mode
Overtime Mode is reached by completing the Ending A route in 72 Hour Mode. Follow these steps in order:
- Complete every Case before its deadline. If a Case expires, you cannot earn Ending A on that run. The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster guide details the route.
- Speak with Isabella to finish The Facts. Completing the Cases alone does not satisfy the Ending A requirements.
- Be at the Heliport at noon on September 22. Meeting the Case and Isabella requirements and arriving at the specified time earns Ending A and continues the story into Overtime Mode.
How to unlock Infinity Mode
Complete Overtime Mode after reaching it through Ending A. Infinity Mode becomes available after Overtime Mode is finished; reaching Overtime Mode by itself is not enough. The remaster guide covering the mode unlocks confirms this sequence.
Once unlocked, select Infinity Mode from the game modes. Capcom’s official manual describes it as a mode in which you try to survive for as long as possible. It does not specify a fixed run length or promise a particular reward for surviving a set number of days.

How the three modes fit together

Common reasons the unlock route fails
- A Case expired: Ending A is no longer available for that run if you miss a Case deadline.
- You completed the Cases but skipped Isabella: Speak with her and finish The Facts as part of the route.
- You went to the Heliport at the wrong time: The required arrival is noon on September 22.
- You reached Overtime Mode but cannot find Infinity Mode: Finish Overtime Mode first, then check the game-mode selection.
