The hint “Quickly break the bounds of Space and find Love” points to Space Dette. To unlock her, enter Space 54, get beyond the stage’s normal boundary, then head southeast from your starting area and collect the heart on a small platform.
How to find the heart and unlock Space Dette
- Choose Space 54. The hint is tied to this stage.
- Get outside the normal play area. A character that can pass through walls is the clearest route because Space 54 has tight boundaries.
- Travel southeast from the starting area. Look for a heart sitting on a small pillar or platform.
- Collect the heart. Space Dette should then be unlocked; the walkthrough says you can quit the stage after the pickup.
The route is described in Destructoid’s Space Dette walkthrough. A November 2025 Steam Community discussion also points players to Space 54 and the southeast direction.
Which character should you use to pass the boundary?
Destructoid names Gyoruntin, Guardian Pina and Chaos as characters with wall-passing abilities. Guardian Pina is associated with the Among Us DLC and Chaos with the Castlevania DLC; the available sources do not establish a complete DLC ownership or platform-compatibility list. The Steam discussion specifically notes Gyoruntin’s “Ignore Walls” ability.
Use whichever named character you already have access to. The guide says other characters might get through a wall if a large number of bullets and enemies cause frame hitches, but that is an unreliable workaround rather than a dependable route.

What Space Dette starts with
Destructoid describes Space Dette as starting with the evolved Photonstorm, which grows stronger as she levels, and gaining adoring-fan companions when she defeats enemies. These are the guide’s character descriptions, not independently verified performance comparisons.
Why the hint can be hard to interpret
The wording is literal: “Quickly break the bounds of Space and find Love.” The clue refers to leaving Space 54’s ordinary boundaries and locating the heart, rather than to a separate menu option. A Steam guide lists Space Dette among secrets added in version 1.13.103, while noting uncertainty about the trigger. The route above comes from secondary guides and player discussion; an official developer confirmation and platform-by-platform validation are not established by those sources.
