The steps below follow the unofficial Fisch Wiki’s guide, updated September 25, 2026; because the game can change, verify the title and seasonal requirements in-game.
1. Find your personal word and number
The unlock phrase uses two player-specific codes. The Fisch Wiki says these remain the same when you change servers, but they differ between players. Keep any spaces in the word exactly as shown.
- Number: At Brine Pool, look beneath the right side of the entrance bridge.
- Word: In Mushgrove Swamp, climb the small mountain on the left and look underneath the largest tree branch.
When prompted to enter the phrase, use this format with your own values: the brick rod is real. bestowed upon those with [your word] [your number].
2. Equip the title required for the current UTC hour
The guide provides a title schedule keyed to UTC hours and warns that the title order may change between summers. It also reports that The Holy title is bugged. Its separate note naming “God of the Seas” as the current title conflicts with the schedule, so do not rely on that note alone. Check the guide’s title table for the applicable UTC hour and confirm the requirement by speaking with Minish in-game.

3. Activate all three hidden bricks
The bricks can be pressed in any order, according to the guide:
- Roslit Bay: Find the brick in the river beneath the bridge near the Orc NPC.
- Ancient Isle: Look on the wall in the room containing the Phoenix Rod, Earth Fragment, and Eclipse Totem.
- The Depths: Near the Angler NPC, drop down a ledge behind the red crystals. The brick is at the corner.
4. Prepare for Minish at Harvesters Spike
Before going to Harvesters Spike, set Desolate Deep as your spawn point, make sure your playtime is at least 22 hours, and catch a Pufferfish at Roslit Bay’s coral reef. The guide says Minish appears at Harvesters Spike in summer, at night, and in foggy conditions.

5. Enter the phrase and claim the rod
- Travel to Harvesters Spike when the required season and weather conditions are present.
- Hold the Pufferfish and enter the chat phrase using your personal word and number.
- Speak to Minish. On successful completion, the guide says you are teleported to the Brick Rod room.
- Purchase the rod there for 13,337 C$.
Troubleshooting
The Fisch Wiki offers these explanations for common problems; treat them as guide-reported troubleshooting, not guaranteed game behavior:
- “Your alias fails to distinguish yourself”: The guide associates this message with having the wrong title equipped. Recheck the UTC-hour schedule and confirm the title with Minish.
- “You must utter the incantation first”: The guide associates this message with a missing chat phrase. Enter the phrase before speaking to Minish.
- A brick is not visible: The guide notes that the third brick may fail to appear visually and suggests rejoining or changing servers.
- Avoid spamming the phrase: The guide warns that repeatedly sending it may lead to a ban.
