To open the locked chest in the Regalith Grand Cathedral, use the Guest Room Key to enter the Guest Room, defeat the five Morneto inside, then take the Treasure Chest Key they yield back to the Magla Hollow. The chest is south of the hollow and contains a Sanctified Amulet.
What you need before opening the chest
- Guest Room Key: You need this to enter the Guest Room. The item entry identifies it as the key required for the room.
- Treasure Chest Key: You receive this after defeating the Guest Room monsters; it opens the locked chest.
How to get the Treasure Chest Key
- In the Cathedral’s southern Servants’ Chamber area, find the Guest Room door and use the Guest Room Key.
- Defeat the five Morneto inside. A multi-target attack such as Mahama or a multi-target Synthesis Skill can help with the encounter, but the guide does not establish a particular Archetype or skill as mandatory. Neoseeker’s Cathedral walkthrough recommends preparing an area attack.
- After the scene following the fight, collect the Treasure Chest Key.
Where to find the chest and its reward
Return to the Magla Hollow and head south to the locked chest. Use the Treasure Chest Key to open it; the reward is a Sanctified Amulet. The walkthrough describes the amulet as useful later in the dungeon but reports no immediate effect when collected, so do not expect an instant benefit. Neoseeker’s walkthrough and the chest listing identify the reward.
