To unlock Healer in Where Winds Meet, reach character level 13, start the Healer introduction quest with Mu Ji’an in Qinghe, then follow its gathering, medicine, and treatment objectives. The guides call the quest either “Healer’s Legacy” or “Legacy: Healer’s Calling,” so use the Healer quest prompt in your current game if the wording or settlement label differs.
Healer unlock route
- Reach level 13. Two guides report this as the level to begin the Healer introduction. If the quest does not appear, check the Healer entry in Careers or Professions and follow its current in-game prompt.
- Start the Healer introduction. Look for “Healer’s Legacy” or “Legacy: Healer’s Calling” in the Careers/Professions area. The available guides use different titles for the quest.
- Find Mu Ji’an in Qinghe. The guides describe his location around Mercyheart Town or Mercyheart Village. Follow the quest marker or map in your game if the settlement wording does not match.
- Gather the quest-marked herbs. Follow the objective to the marked collection point. A guide cautions that herbs already in your inventory may not satisfy this step, so collect the ones identified by the quest.
- Make and deliver Blood-Stopping Powder. The detailed walkthrough directs you to craft the powder and give it to Mu Ji’an.
- Finish the treatment tutorial. Treat the tutorial patient and reduce their Severity to zero, as described in the walkthrough. Completing this introduction unlocks the Healer career.
Where to find Healer after the introduction
Open Healer from the Careers or Professions area after completing the tutorial. Career improvement, prescription upgrades or settings, and medicine crafting are later career features; they do not replace the introductory quest.
If the quest does not match the guide
- Check the Healer entry in Careers/Professions for its active quest prompt rather than relying only on a remembered title.
- Use the current quest marker to locate Mu Ji’an; the guides differ on whether the nearby settlement is called Mercyheart Town or Mercyheart Village.
- Return to the marked herb-gathering objective and collect its specified plants, even if similar herbs are already in your inventory.
The available guides do not establish that the reported level gate, quest labels, herb requirement, recipe, or regional labels remain unchanged across game updates. One guide also mentions a solo-mode restriction, but that detail is not independently confirmed here; check the current quest prompt rather than treating it as a guaranteed requirement.
What unlocks—and what comes later
The Healer introduction is a quest associated with Mu Ji’an in Qinghe. After completing its objectives and treatment tutorial, the Healer career becomes available. Career improvement, prescription functions, and medicine crafting belong to using and advancing the career, not to finding a separate unlock route.
