To unlock the Shaman Legion class mount, complete the Broken Shore’s Breaching the Tomb progression, finish any required Shaman Order Hall and Champions of Legionfall steps, then start the Shaman mount quest at Deliverance Point and complete the Gathering of the Storms scenario. The reward is Farseer’s Raging Tempest, represented by the Raging Tempest Totem.
What you need to unlock
Blizzard’s 2017 class-mount announcement gives the broad route: complete Breaching the Tomb on the Broken Shore, then return to your Order Hall. Current Shaman quest guidance adds class-specific progression: the Shaman campaign and final follower recruitment, plus Champions of Legionfall when those steps remain unfinished.
Progress is not identical across characters. Breaching the Tomb may already be complete account-wide, but that does not necessarily finish the Shaman-specific Order Hall and follower requirements on the character you are playing. The precise sequence depends on your existing account and character progress.
Step-by-step: get the Shaman mount
- Check Breaching the Tomb. If you have not completed the Broken Shore achievement, finish its Legionfall progression. Blizzard’s announcement describes this as the general class-mount prerequisite; current guides indicate you may not need to repeat the achievement on every character once it is complete on your account.
- Finish the Shaman Order Hall campaign. Continue any remaining class-hall quests and follower recruitment chain. The relevant Legionfall champion depends on this class progression, so an unfinished campaign can keep the mount quest from appearing.
- Complete Champions of Legionfall if it is still required. Continue the Broken Shore and Legionfall steps on the Shaman as needed. Quest notes indicate that completing this achievement can send you back to the Order Hall to recruit the final follower before the class mount quest becomes available.
- Return to Deliverance Point. Look for the Shaman mount breadcrumb from Orono on the Broken Shore. The quest chain includes Carried On the Wind.
- Finish Gathering of the Storms. Complete the scenario, which involves aiding Prince Thunderaan in the Throne of the Four Winds. Completing it awards the mount.
For additional Shaman-specific quest names and progression notes, see the current class-mount guide and the Gathering of the Storms quest entry.

Where to start if the quest is missing
If you have completed Breaching the Tomb but cannot find the Shaman mount quest, check the class-specific prerequisites before repeating Broken Shore steps:
- Look for unfinished quests in the Shaman Order Hall campaign, especially the final follower recruitment chain.
- Check whether Champions of Legionfall is complete on the account or character progression relevant to your current state.
- Return to Deliverance Point after completing the remaining campaign and Legionfall requirements, then look for Orono and the Shaman mount breadcrumb.
A completed achievement on another character is not proof that every Shaman-specific prerequisite is complete. A 2019 Blizzard forum question describes this exact point of confusion: the player had completed Breaching the Tomb on a main but still needed to know what to do on a Shaman.
