To reach Takashiro in Forza Horizon 6, complete the opening Horizon Qualifiers, fill the Horizon Festival Points meter, and finish the Horizon Invitational. Winning that event awards your first Wristband and unlocks the World Map, which is the point at which you can drive through Japan and explore Takashiro.
No official guide reviewed names a separate Takashiro mission, Wristband, Stamp total, or other region-only requirement. If Takashiro is still unavailable after the Invitational, verify that the first Wristband was awarded, reload the map or session, and check again.

The progression that unlocks Japan exploration
The early campaign has one documented access gate that matters for Takashiro: admission to the Horizon Festival. Playground Games describes that sequence as completing the Horizon Qualifiers, then the Horizon Invitational, and earning your first Wristband. Its starting guide states that the World Map is unlocked at this point.
Takashiro is a named region on the Japan map, but the official material available for the game does not publish a Takashiro-specific unlock condition. In practical terms, you should treat the first Wristband and World Map unlock as the required progression, rather than looking for a separate Takashiro story chapter.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
“To make it into the Horizon Festival, you’ll have to complete the Horizon Qualifiers and then the Horizon Invitational, earning your first Wristband.”

Step-by-step: unlock the region
1. Start the prologue
Begin the opening sequence and follow the introductory objectives until you meet Mei and Jordy. These prologue activities establish your campaign progress; Takashiro is not expected to be available as a free-roam destination before this opening sequence is complete.
2. Complete the six Horizon Qualifiers
The opening map contains six qualifier events. They can be completed in any order, so choose the events that are most convenient rather than waiting for one particular race to appear.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWatch the Horizon Festival Points meter while you work through them. The important checkpoint is not a specific qualifier number; it is filling the meter required to enter the Horizon Invitational.
- Open the current campaign map and select any available qualifier.
- Complete the event and return to the map.
- Choose another qualifier until the Festival Points meter is full.
- If you prefer a faster route, prioritize the qualifiers and avoid optional exploration until this meter is complete.
3. Enter and finish the Horizon Invitational
When the Festival Points meter is full, the Horizon Invitational becomes the next progression step. Enter the event and complete it rather than leaving it pending on the map.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
The first Wristband is awarded after the Invitational. That Wristband is the campaign milestone that formally admits you to the Horizon Festival and moves the game into open Japan exploration.
4. Open the World Map
After the Invitational, open the World Map from the Pause menu. Playground Games’ starting guide describes the map as unlocked at this stage. Use it to select roads and activities in the Takashiro area, then drive there from your current position.

You do not need to wait for a separately named “Takashiro unlock” mission in the official progression described so far. Once the map and first Wristband are active, treat Takashiro as part of the wider Japan world rather than as a standalone campaign reward.
5. Explore Takashiro’s activities
As you reach the region, continue with the races, roads, landmarks, and Discover Japan activities shown on your map. These activities are the normal way to build out your exploration after the initial Festival admission.
Some icons may appear only as you drive near them or satisfy their own activity conditions. That does not establish a second region-wide Takashiro gate; it simply reflects how map activities are revealed.

What is confirmed—and what is not
| Question | What the available official material establishes | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| What opens the Japan map? | The Horizon Qualifiers followed by the Horizon Invitational; the first Wristband is awarded after the Invitational. | Finish that sequence before troubleshooting regional access. |
| Is Takashiro a named place? | Yes. Takashiro is a named region on the Japan map. | Use the World Map after earning the first Wristband to navigate there. |
| Is there a Takashiro-only mission? | No official source reviewed names one. | Do not hold up progress searching for a mission with that exact name. |
| Is a Stamp count required? | No official Takashiro Stamp requirement is documented in the material reviewed. | Prioritize the Qualifiers, Invitational, first Wristband, and map reload if necessary. |
| Which Wristband is needed? | The first Wristband marks Festival admission and World Map access. Takashiro is not documented as requiring a later named Wristband. | Confirm that the first Wristband has actually been awarded. |
This distinction matters because a map icon, an individual activity, and an entire region can have different visibility rules. The evidence confirms the campaign gate and the map, but it does not prove that every Takashiro activity appears at the same moment or that no future update could add a local requirement.

Why Takashiro may look locked
You have not completed the Invitational
Completing some qualifiers is not the same as completing the opening progression. Check the Festival Points meter and finish all required qualifier progress. Then enter the Horizon Invitational and complete it. The first Wristband is tied to the Invitational, not merely to starting the qualifiers.
The first Wristband was earned, but the map state did not refresh
If the Invitational is complete and the Wristband is visible in your progression, return to the Pause menu and open the World Map again. If Takashiro still does not appear or the route behaves as though the map is locked, reload the map or restart the current session, then check the World Map once more.
No official source reviewed documents another Takashiro-specific gate, so a missing region after the documented milestone is better treated as a progression or map-state issue than as proof of a hidden Stamp requirement.
You are looking for an individual activity rather than the region
Reaching Takashiro does not guarantee that every race, landmark, or Discover Japan activity is already visible. Drive the roads in the region and watch for activities to reveal themselves. A temporarily absent icon is not the same as the entire region being inaccessible.

You are confusing Takashiro with Legend Island
Legend Island is a separate exclusive region with an explicit requirement: the Gold Wristband, awarded after all seven Festival Wristbands. That rule belongs to Legend Island and should not be applied to Takashiro.
Fastest route versus exploration-first progression
| Goal | Recommended order | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Fastest access to Takashiro | Meet Mei and Jordy, complete the six Qualifiers in any order, fill the Festival Points meter, finish the Horizon Invitational, then open the World Map. | You postpone optional roads, landmarks, and collectibles until the first Wristband. |
| More exploration before free roaming | Complete each qualifier as it becomes convenient, then investigate nearby roads and Discover Japan activities while continuing toward the full meter. | The first Wristband and open-map access arrive later because you are mixing campaign and exploration tasks. |
| Chasing an exclusive region | Do not use Takashiro as a proxy for Legend Island. For Legend Island, progress through all seven Festival Wristbands and earn the Gold Wristband. | Legend Island has a separate, explicit progression requirement. |
For a player asking only how to enter Takashiro, the first row is the efficient choice. The game does not require you to clear every activity in another region before attempting the Qualifiers or Invitational.
A documented Takashiro collectible route
Takashiro is also associated with an optional Treasure Car route documented by Windows Central: a 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III. This is a collectible opportunity inside the region, not part of the campaign gate.
How to reach the Treasure Car
- Travel to Takashiro after the World Map has been unlocked.
- Look for the marked dirt roads beside a small river.
- Follow the track toward the waterfall.
- The car is at the end of the track before the waterfall.
Treasure Cars are immediately usable after collection. That differs from Barn Finds, which require restoration before they can be driven. If you are using the Treasure Car as a test of access, remember that finding it confirms you reached the route; it does not replace the Qualifiers or Invitational requirement.
What to check when the region is still unavailable
- Confirm the opening sequence. Make sure the prologue objectives that introduce Mei and Jordy are complete.
- Check the Festival Points meter. If it is not full, return to the six Horizon Qualifiers and complete the remaining required progress.
- Finish the Invitational. Do not stop after filling the meter; enter and complete the Horizon Invitational.
- Verify the first Wristband. The expected milestone is the first Wristband awarded after the Invitational.
- Open the map from the Pause menu. The World Map should be available at this stage.
- Reload the map or session. If the milestone is complete but Takashiro is absent, reload before assuming there is another requirement.
- Separate region access from activity access. Drive into the area and allow nearby races, roads, landmarks, and Discover Japan activities to appear.
- Do not apply Legend Island’s rule. The Gold Wristband requirement is documented for Legend Island, not for Takashiro.
If these checks do not resolve the problem, the currently documented progression does not provide a further Takashiro-specific fix. A later official support page or verified post-launch guide would be needed to establish any additional gate introduced after the campaign information and starting guide described here.

Do you need Stamps, a special story mission, or a later Wristband?
Not according to the official material reviewed. The documented early gate is the Horizon Qualifiers followed by the Horizon Invitational, with the first Wristband awarded on completion. No source reviewed names a Takashiro-only Stamp total, mission, or later Wristband.
That is different from saying that every future update or every individual activity must behave identically. The safe, evidence-based procedure is to complete the documented Festival admission sequence, open the World Map, reload if the map state has not updated, and then investigate any activity-specific visibility issue separately.
How Takashiro fits into the wider map
The official full-map information confirms Japan as the game’s setting and identifies Takashiro as one of its named regions. The starting guide’s World Map milestone is therefore the useful connection between campaign progression and regional exploration: before the milestone, you are still in the opening admission sequence; after it, you can use the map to travel through the broader world.

Bottom line
Complete the six Horizon Qualifiers, fill the Horizon Festival Points meter, and finish the Horizon Invitational. The first Wristband and World Map unlock follow. From there, drive to Takashiro and pursue its races, roads, landmarks, Discover Japan activities, and optional collectibles. If the region remains unavailable after that milestone, reload the map or session; no separate Takashiro gate is officially documented in the available guides.
