How to get the true ending in CODE VEIN II
- Progress through the main story until you defeat Valentin at Luna Rapacis. This triggers A Hero’s End, the first ending, regardless of your earlier choices, according to GameSpot’s ending guide.
- After the ending and credits, return to the main menu and choose Continue. This leads into the 2207: The Upheaval Era story path. Complete that route; PowerPyx places its finale after the boss at the top of the Sealing Spire. The resulting second ending is Luna Fraterna. See PowerPyx’s ending guide.
- Complete the four Timeline Shift Decision missions listed below. The guides report that these can be completed after the first ending; PowerPyx says they can also be finished after the second.
- Return to the main menu, select Rescue Lou, and complete the separate final mission. GameSpot identifies the resulting ending, Miraculous Bonds, as the true ending.
The guides describe the endings as a predetermined sequence within one playthrough, so you do not need to start New Game Plus just to reach Miraculous Bonds. They do not establish whether every boss encounter can be avoided or whether any fights must be repeated.

Which Timeline Shift Decisions do you need?
Complete all four decisions, each associated with a companion and an area. PowerPyx names the missions as follows:

These missions change the past and resolve each companion’s story. The available guides establish the names and locations, but not a verified, step-by-step sequence of objectives or prerequisite conversations. Follow the relevant companion and timeline quest markers in-game rather than relying on an unverified objective order.

Can you miss the true ending?
According to the ending guides, the four decisions remain available after A Hero’s End, and PowerPyx says none of them is missable. If you have already seen the first ending, continue your save and work through the decisions instead of restarting solely for this route. This availability claim comes from the guides, not a stated developer guarantee.

What comes after the true ending?
Bandai Namco Europe’s September 9, 2026 Update 2.0 announcement describes The Age of Harmony as an epilogue after Miraculous Bonds. The update also lists character-focused episodes, new Blood Codes, Trials of Remembrance combat challenges, Story-Focused Mode, and customization updates. This is additional post-ending content, not a replacement for the four-decision route to the base game’s true ending.
The separately announced Mask of Idris expansion is not listed as a prerequisite for the true ending. Bandai Namco’s July 1, 2026 announcement described it as the first expansion, available for purchase and included with Deluxe and Ultimate editions at the time of that announcement, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
