Unlock Wuling through the Event screen
- Complete Chapter I Process II: Remediation Progress. This is the prerequisite for the publisher-documented early-access activity.
- Open Event (also called Event Center in the update notes). Select Main Mission Early Unlock: Wuling. The activity was made permanently available with the Homecoming version update, according to the official Homecoming update announcement and the official DEV Comm.
- Accept Chapter II Process I: Arrival at Wuling. Follow its active mission objectives to travel to Wuling.
The official DEV Comm says early Chapter II access does not affect Chapter I progression: you can return to Valley IV at any time, and missions from different chapters may be active simultaneously. You do not have to abandon the Chapter I story to visit Wuling.
Do you still need Authority Level 43?
Older guides describe the standard route as reaching Authority Level 43 and completing Arrival at Wuling. That advice reflects the usual story progression, but it is not the only current route: the Homecoming update added the permanent Event-screen early unlock after Chapter I Process II: Remediation Progress. If you have met that story prerequisite, use the Event activity rather than treating Level 43 as a separate requirement for early access.
Wuling region access is not the same as unlocking every location
Starting Arrival at Wuling opens the path into the region; it does not mean every facility or sub-area becomes available immediately. A January 2026 guide distinguishes later milestones for the Wuling Core AIC and the Sky King Flats construction site, but that predates the Homecoming early-access feature. For a specific site, follow the current mission text and map markers in-game, since the official early-unlock instructions do not list every internal area gate.

If Wuling remains locked
- Check that Chapter I Process II: Remediation Progress is fully complete, rather than merely active.
- Open Event and look specifically for Main Mission Early Unlock: Wuling.
- After accepting it, select or track Chapter II Process I: Arrival at Wuling and follow its objectives.
- If the region is open but a particular facility is not, continue the relevant mission chain; region access and internal site access are separate progression milestones.
