What’s new in College Football 26 Team Builder?
EA identifies two headline changes: more control over individual players through deeper roster editing in a dedicated tab, and the ability to bring College Football 25 Team Builder creations into College Football 26. EA has not published a complete field-by-field comparison, so the full list of editor controls below describes the current tool rather than features that are all new to 26.

EA’s College Football 26 announcement describes the changes as ways to refine a team’s details and gain greater control over its identity and legacy. The developer’s Team Builder deep dive confirms the roster-editor and carryover features.

- A traditional Windows or macOS computer with a desktop browser. EA says phones, tablets, and Chromebooks are not supported.
- An EA Account and an internet connection. A platform account may also be required, and age restrictions may apply.
- Access to College Football 26 on a supported console to download and play a submitted team. EA says Team Builder cannot be used while you are logged into College Football.

How to create and submit a team
- Open Team Builder in a desktop browser and select Get Started. Sign in with your EA Account.
- Choose an existing team to customize, or select Create to start from scratch.
- Use the Brand, Uniforms, Stadium, Program, and Roster tabs to edit your school.
- Select Save, then Submit. Review the summary and select Submit again to confirm. Choose Cancel if you want to return to editing instead.
What you can edit in each tab
Brand
Set logos, colors, apparel brand, and fonts to establish the school’s visual identity.
Uniforms
Customize home and away uniforms, including styles, textures, and colors for the helmet, jersey, and pants.

Stadium
Configure the stadium name, capacity, crowd, atmosphere, style, base, and structure. Additional options include end-zone buildings, jumbotrons, landscape, edgewalls, goal posts, postseason end zones, stadium sounds, and team branding.

Roster
Edit the team roster and player dealbreakers, ratings, abilities, appearances, hometowns, and names. In College Football 26, EA highlights this as a dedicated tab with deeper player editing; it has not specified a complete list of which individual controls changed from the prior version.
How to download your team in College Football 26
Submitting on the website does not itself put the team into your active game. Download it from the game’s sharing menu:

- Launch College Football 26 and open Create & Share > Download Center.
- Choose the Schools category and search for your team by name.
- Select the team and download it to your platform’s local storage.
- Use the downloaded school in Play Now, Dynasty, or Road to Glory.
EA lists those three modes as supported for Team Builder teams. For Road to Glory, there is an additional high-school import flow.

Using a Team Builder school in Road to Glory
To use a custom school as your high school in Road to Glory, first create and submit it in Team Builder, then download it through the in-game Download Center. When starting Road to Glory, select Import High School Team Builder. You can choose whether to import the custom roster; if you do not, the game uses a generic high-school roster.
