To view an old Roblox homepage, open the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, enter roblox.com or a specific address such as roblox.com/home, and select a date with a saved capture. It may show the historical design, but archived pages can be incomplete and usually should not be expected to work like the live Roblox site.
Find a saved Roblox homepage
- Go to the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.
- Enter
roblox.com. If you are looking for a particular page, try its address too, such asroblox.com/home. - Choose a year and then an available capture date from the calendar or timeline.
The Internet Archive explains that you can enter a URL to browse its history. Availability varies: the exact year or page you want may not have been captured, and a saved page may be missing images, links, or other elements.
What an archived page can—and cannot—do
A Wayback Machine capture is a saved historical version, not a restored, official Roblox homepage. Some archived pages load only partially, and interactive features may not work. In a February 11, 2025 Roblox Developer Forum post, one user reported that an old URL found through the archive displayed on Roblox but was not meaningfully interactive. That is one user’s experience, not a guarantee about every capture.
If you have a particular era in mind—such as the 2016 homepage—try the relevant URL and dates around that period. The archive may have a capture, but no particular year’s availability is guaranteed.

Can Roblox switch the current homepage to an old design?
Roblox Support documents Light, Dark, and System appearance settings for the website and apps; it does not document a setting to restore an older homepage layout. These appearance options change the color scheme, not the site’s historical design.
Roblox announced a limited-time Classic app theme for its 20th-anniversary event, held September 17–28, 2026. The announcement described a throwback logo, colors, and font. Those event dates have passed. Roblox said active Roblox Plus subscribers could keep that app theme, along with a classic avatar background and profile frame, after the event; this was an app theme, not a way to restore the old website homepage.

Should you use a third-party theme?
A browser theme or user style can imitate an older look, but it changes how a page is presented; it does not open an original archived Roblox homepage. A community project describes a 2007–2012-style recreation, but its current safety, compatibility, and maintenance have not been established. For an actual historical capture, the Wayback Machine is the better starting point. Avoid unofficial executables and never enter your Roblox credentials into a third-party theme tool.

If your goal is to fix a broken or distorted current page rather than see an older design, Roblox Support suggests clearing temporary internet files and cookies and disabling browser add-ons. Those steps troubleshoot display problems; they do not restore a historical homepage layout.
