How to find the DSS vote

- Open the voting panel and review the choices. Follow the on-screen prompt for your platform and game version rather than relying on a particular button instruction.
- Select a destination or stay option, if available. Choose based on the current Galactic War objective and whether the station can support the campaign at that location.
Available planets and whether voting is open are live game-state details. Check the panel in-game for the current choices; a community-maintained Major Orders archive records DSS-related votes, but does not establish which destinations are available at any given moment.

How the vote reportedly works
The DSS is a player-directed strategic asset tied to the Galactic War. Community-maintained feature documentation reports that players can vote for a destination or to keep the station in its current location, and that the most-voted destination becomes the next location after a four-hour cycle. This cadence and outcome are reported mechanics, not details confirmed by a current official source here; check the in-game panel for the active cycle and result.
What to consider before voting
- Current war objective: Consider which planet matters to the active campaign rather than choosing from a fixed, evergreen list.
- Strategic relevance: A destination is useful when it can support the fight players are trying to advance.
- Whether the DSS can support that campaign: The available choices and station status may change, so use the options shown in-game.
Is this a new feature?
The 2026 article that popularized the “now” framing does not give an official launch date for DSS voting. Community descriptions treat the vote as an existing feature, and contemporary community archives include DSS-related voting material. Without an official announcement establishing a 2026 introduction, it is more accurate to describe how the feature works than to claim it has just launched.
