Watch official GTA 6 videos through Rockstar’s GTA VI video page or its GTA VI site, then troubleshoot playback according to the device you’re using. Lowering video quality can help on a constrained connection; if you’re watching a live YouTube broadcast on a TV, the documented Default broadcast-delay setting favors fewer interruptions over the lowest latency.
Where to watch official GTA 6 videos
Rockstar’s GTA VI watch page lists Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look (August 27, 2026), Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025), and Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023). It links to YouTube and Netflix for the Extended Look. Check the platforms directly for regional availability and any access requirements.
The Extended Look is not an upcoming premiere: Rockstar announced it would premiere on Netflix at 3 p.m. ET on August 27, 2026, then appear on its official YouTube channel and GTA VI site at 9 p.m. ET that day. Those were one-time announcement times, not a recurring livestream schedule. Rockstar’s media page also lists the videos and a “Download All” option for its video and clip assets. The page does not state individual file sizes or promise a particular playback quality.
Using Rockstar’s listings is the straightforward way to verify a video is an official release rather than a repost or commentary stream.

Fix buffering on a phone or computer
- Try another internet connection, such as switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, then replay the video. Mobile data rates may apply.
- On a phone, clear the YouTube app cache if playback continues to stall.
- On a computer, close other tabs, update and reopen the browser, and restart the device if you are seeing playback errors.
These are YouTube troubleshooting steps, not a guarantee of a fix. If the connection is the bottleneck, select a lower video quality in the player and see whether playback becomes steadier.
Improve playback on a TV
YouTube recommends a minimum connection speed of 7 Mbps for HD streaming in its TV troubleshooting guidance. That is a recommendation, not a guarantee that every stream will play without buffering.

- Check the connection near the TV and keep the streaming device within range of the router.
- Reduce Wi-Fi interference; a recessed spot or metal obstruction can weaken the signal.
- Limit other devices using the network while you watch.
- Lower the video quality manually if the connection cannot sustain the current setting.
- Quit and reopen the app, restart the device, and install available system software updates.
If Wi-Fi signal or interference appears to be the problem, a compatible Ethernet connection is an option when both the router and viewing device have wired ports. It is not required, and the cited platform guidance does not guarantee that a cable will fix buffering.
For YouTube in 4K on PS5
PlayStation’s guidance for YouTube 4K on PS5 calls for a PS5 set up for 4K, a 4K display, and a steady connection of at least 25 Mbps. This figure applies to that specific console and service use case; it is not a universal minimum for GTA videos or other devices. The YouTube app’s “Show Video Info” control can confirm whether the reported resolution is 3840 × 2160.

If the video is actually live
A live stream has a trade-off between how close you are to real time and how much buffer the player has. YouTube explains: “The lower the broadcast delay, the less buffer the video player will have.” Lower delay can make playback more prone to interruptions.
For YouTube Primetime Channels on TV, YouTube says the Default broadcast-delay setting is best for minimizing interruptions; Decrease is intended to reduce live spoilers. That control is documented for this TV context, not every YouTube live stream. Network congestion and other factors can also delay live programming, even with a good connection.

- On a TV, try casting from another device or connecting a laptop by HDMI.
- For the videos listed in Rockstar’s archive, use its “Download All” option to get the official assets before watching. File sizes are not stated on the page, so check available storage and download time for your connection.
