Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteFor a blacked-out MLB postseason game, first check the game’s current listing to see which network has it, then use a TV provider or streaming service that carries that network where you live. MLB.TV is not a universal live postseason pass: for select 2026 games, MLB says U.S. subscribers must authenticate through a participating pay TV provider carrying the applicable network.
Find the network carrying your game
Postseason rights vary by round, so start with the specific game rather than assuming every playoff game is on the same channel. MLB’s current postseason schedule is the place to check, and the game listing can change. Recheck it on game day.
For the 2026 Division Series, MLB’s announcement assigns ALDS games to TNT Sports platforms and NLDS games to FOX/FS1, FOX Deportes, and FOX One. There is conflicting information on MLB’s general MLB.TV providers page: it still lists TBS for the NLDS and NLCS, and FOX/FS1 for the ALDS, ALCS, and World Series. For a particular 2026 game, rely on its current schedule listing rather than that conflicting generic round-by-round line. MLB’s 2026 Division Series announcement has the dated round guidance; confirm the individual game listing before watching.
Choose a service that carries that network
Once you know the network, check whether a TV provider or streaming service carries it in your location and whether it is included in your plan. Lineups and plan availability can vary, so verify the specific channel before subscribing or signing in. MLB’s MLB.TV provider information describes the participating-provider requirement for select live postseason streams.

How MLB.TV authentication works
A standalone MLB.TV subscription should not be assumed to unlock a live postseason game. MLB says select 2026 postseason games are available to U.S. subscribers only after they authenticate through a participating pay TV provider that carries the applicable network. MLB’s 2026 postseason announcement describes this as access for subscribers authenticated to the network through an eligible provider, not as an MLB.TV-only entitlement.
MLB’s standard package information also says the listed package does not include live 2026 postseason games. Check the package terms and the game’s listing before buying; access to regular-season games does not by itself establish live postseason access.

Check whether a territory restriction applies
Use MLB’s ZIP-code blackout restriction checker to see whether local restrictions apply. MLB says home television territory restrictions apply whether the club is playing at home or away, and regardless of whether the game is televised in that club’s home territory. Restrictions may also extend beyond U.S. borders for clubs based in the United States.
