In Star Wars: Galactic Racer, a Galactic Tour is a three-act campaign run built from racing events. You choose which events to enter, and the event sequence is randomized whenever a tour begins. Crashing too many times can end the run, forcing you to regroup and start again.
What is a Galactic Tour?
The Galactic Tour is the game’s single-player campaign structure: a run through events spread across planets, organized into three acts. The official Star Wars game page describes a dynamic campaign in which players choose events, while Xbox Wire’s launch-day interview identifies the tour as a three-act journey.

The order of events is randomized each time you start a tour. That means you should expect the route to vary between starts, not assume every event will always be different or that the campaign has no recurring events.
How do event choices work?
As you advance, you choose which events to tackle rather than follow one fixed sequence. Official game copy describes choosing events to conquer, and GamesRadar’s review also reports branching race-event choices. The path you select shapes the run’s event route and its contribution to campaign progress.

- Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga PS5
The documented choice is about which event or route to take; the available sources do not establish a formal decision matrix, exact event count, or specific reward for each choice. Consider the trade-off in practical terms: progress along your chosen path while managing the risk that a crash can end the tour.
What happens if you crash too often?
Repeated crashes can knock you out of the current tour. The official story-trailer description puts it plainly: “Crash too many times and you’re out of the tour; then it’s time to regroup, rebuild, and begin again.” This is official game-description copy, not a quotation attributed to a named developer. The consequence is run-level: the tour ends and you must begin again.

Are qualifiers part of the campaign?
TechRadar’s launch review reports that players complete qualifiers before entering the main Galactic Tour. Treat that as review-reported progression, not an independently confirmed rule in the official descriptions cited here.

How does the campaign differ from other modes?
The game presents Campaign, Scenario, and Arcade as separate modes. Arcade is a way to jump into podracing, according to the official story-trailer page, while podracing can also appear within campaign play. Choosing Arcade is therefore not the same as continuing a Galactic Tour.
For the campaign, the useful loop is: select events as the tour unfolds, race through its changing route, and avoid accumulating enough crashes to be put out of the run.
