How much do YouTube Premium views pay in India?
There is no verified fixed amount to apply to an Indian Premium view. YouTube’s official explanation says subscription revenue is distributed according to how much Premium members watch a creator’s content; it does not publish a fixed payment per view in that guidance. The documentation reviewed does not specify whether or how country-level subscription prices, taxes, or regional pools affect an individual creator’s share. It therefore does not support saying that an Indian Premium view earns a particular amount, or more or less than a view from another country.
Do Premium views count on a 24/7 live stream?
Live-streaming videos can earn Watch Page Premium revenue. YouTube says creators need to accept the Watch Page Monetization Module to earn Premium revenue from long-form or live-streaming Watch Page videos. Eligibility and the applicable terms still matter; a continuous schedule does not bypass them. See YouTube’s monetization options.

Running a stream around the clock creates more opportunity for people to watch, but time on air is not itself the published Premium payout measure. YouTube’s explanation points to Premium-member watch time. A stream with little Premium-member watch time should not be assumed to earn more than a shorter stream with more of it; that is an inference from the stated mechanism, not a published payout example or guarantee.
Keep Premium revenue separate from other live-stream earnings

YouTube describes these live-stream options and reporting in its live-stream monetization guidance. The partner agreement also does not guarantee how much—or whether—a creator will be paid, as YouTube explains in its overview of partner earnings.

How to check what your own stream earned
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Analytics. Review the stream or its replay over a defined period, rather than treating a single day’s totals as a fixed rate.
- Use the revenue report where available. YouTube’s Premium help says downloadable reports can show watch time and earnings broken down by video. Compare the stream’s reported Premium watch time and earnings for the same period.
- Keep revenue categories distinct. Review Premium earnings separately from live-stream and replay ad revenue, and from fan-funding features where reported.
- Do not turn the result into a guaranteed India RPM. Your report describes your channel’s reported results for that period; the public guidance does not provide a calculator for converting Indian views into a guaranteed payout.
Premium members’ downloaded playback is counted when they next sign in online, and background playback counts toward watch time, according to YouTube’s Premium guidance. That means visible real-time concurrent viewers are not necessarily the only watch time reflected in reporting.
What YouTube has announced for 2027
YouTube announced future terms effective February 1, 2027: creators will share in a pool representing 30% of net subscription revenue for Premium views, and 60% of net subscription revenue for Premium Lite. These are shares of pools, not per-view rates or guaranteed individual creator payouts, and they do not establish a special rate for India. YouTube says creators should accept updated terms by January 31, 2027 to continue fully monetizing. These are announced future terms, not a current India-specific payout formula.
