Nintendo describes a Rush Combo option in which players hold the Rush button and repeatedly press an attack button to perform combos. It offers a simpler route into combo play; the official description does not establish that it replaces the game’s other combat inputs or strategic choices.
Characters have distinct tools
Arc System Works’ character descriptions illustrate different approaches: Gon has three Jajanken variations for different ranges, Killua can increase his movement speed, Hisoka’s Bungee Gum can draw opponents closer or keep them away, and Kurapika is presented as a technical long-range fighter who uses chains. These examples show how character choice can shape a team, though the official descriptions alone do not establish comparative strength or competitive balance.

What modes are included?
The official feature lists cover online competition, local battles, practice, story content, and solo challenges. The online and offline options serve different purposes:
- Online: ranked matches and player matches. Nintendo describes ranked battles as using rank points and G.I. Cards.
- Local and offline: local free battles and single-player modes.
- Practice: training includes partner settings and record/reset functions; combo trials provide additional solo challenges.
- Story and replay: story content and replay viewing are listed among the features.
- Unlockable profile items: Arc System Works also lists collectible profile items.
These mode descriptions come from the game’s official product pages; they do not indicate current online population, matchmaking quality, or server availability.

Platforms, release dates, and editions
HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT is already released. The dates below reflect regional listings, not conflicting global launch claims:
