Verdict: The iBUYPOWER Trace Mesh deal was a historical Amazon offer reported on October 9, 2024: $1,099.99 instead of $1,349.99, a $250 (about 18.5%) reduction. There is no verified August 2026 price here, so treat the headline as expired unless a live retailer listing confirms the same configuration and price.

Which Trace Mesh model was it?
The closest documented match is iBUYPOWER TMI7N46T01, also identified in a Best Buy product record. iBUYPOWER’s official specification lists an i7-14700F; the deal article called the processor an i7-14700KF. Those are different chips, so do not treat “14700KF” as confirmed unless the retailer’s exact ASIN or model number proves it.
| Component | Documented TMI7N46T01 specification |
|---|---|
| CPU | Intel Core i7-14700F (locked); the deal report’s KF label conflicts with this |
| GPU | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, 8GB |
| Memory | 32GB DDR5-5600 RGB |
| Storage | 1TB NVMe SSD |
| Operating system | Windows 11 Home |
| Motherboard | B760 Wi-Fi |
| Power supply | 600W, 80 Plus Gold, non-modular |
| Cooling and case | RGB tower air cooler in a Trace 7 Mesh ARGB case |

What gaming performance makes sense?
1080p
This is the RTX 4060 Ti’s natural target. It should suit high-settings gaming in many current titles and high-refresh competitive play, with results depending on the game and settings.
1440p
1440p is practical in many games, but texture quality, ray tracing and the card’s 8GB of VRAM matter more. Lowering demanding settings or using DLSS may be necessary.

Ray tracing and 4K
Ray-traced workloads commonly need DLSS or reduced settings for smooth play. 4K, especially in newer demanding games, is not the intended use case for this GPU. No independent benchmark table for this exact desktop is established by the deal report.
Why the price was attractive—and what it compromises
At roughly $1,100, the package combined a strong desktop-class CPU, 32GB of memory, a 1TB SSD, Windows and a ready-made chassis. That avoided the assembly and operating-system setup required for a custom build.

- 8GB VRAM: Can limit ultra textures, ray tracing and longer-term 1440p use.
- 1TB storage: Modern games can consume the drive quickly.
- 600W non-modular PSU: Adequate for the listed hardware, but less comfortable for a major future GPU upgrade and less convenient to replace or cable-manage.
- Locked CPU: An i7-14700F is not the overclockable i7-14700KF named in the deal story.
- Prebuilt variability: Confirm exact board, drive, memory, cooler and PSU details on the SKU you receive.
Who should buy at a similar price?
- A first-time buyer wanting a Windows-equipped 1080p gaming desktop.
- A gamer who values 32GB RAM and a strong CPU for multitasking as well as games.
- A buyer with a reliable return policy who is comfortable with 4060 Ti-class performance.
Be cautious near $1,349.99, with only 16GB RAM or a smaller SSD, an unknown or refurbished seller, or a listing aimed at 1440p ultra, 4K or substantial GPU upgrades. A newer system with a stronger GPU—or a custom build that spends less on the CPU and more on graphics—may be better suited.
Checkout checklist
- Match the full model number, ideally TMI7N46T01, or record the exact Amazon ASIN.
- Confirm whether the CPU is i7-14700F or i7-14700KF.
- Verify RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, 32GB DDR5 and a 1TB NVMe SSD; watch for substitutions.
- Check seller, fulfillment, condition, warranty, return window, tax, shipping and any membership requirement.
- Confirm whether keyboard and mouse are actually bundled.
- Ensure your monitor has HDMI or DisplayPort and connect it to the graphics card, not the motherboard. The matching manual shows this setup: TMI7N46T01 manual.
- If adding storage, verify the exact motherboard and available M.2 slots before assuming expansion is simple.
Bottom line on the $250 claim
The October 2024 offer was compelling at $1,099.99 when it included the documented RTX 4060 Ti, 32GB memory and 1TB SSD. It is not evidence of a live 2026 deal, and the CPU discrepancy makes model verification essential. Buy only when the current listing confirms the parts and price; otherwise wait for a newer GPU-focused alternative.
