In the Kummetz’s Officer Lounge/Mess, set the Cipher Machine wheels to J–Ö–G–M. The lower row spells BLUT; look up BLUT in the nearby Code Table and enter 3666 at the exit door.
Where to find the Cipher Machine
The puzzle appears during the Himalayas main quest A Harsh Climb, in the Kummetz’s officer area. It is a required gate on the route onward. The Captain’s Code, Code Table, cipher machine, and four removable wheels are in the nearby room.
How to solve the Cipher Machine puzzle

Inspect the Captain’s Code document. Its letters are JÖGM.

Collect the four code wheels and place them from left to right in J, Ö, G, M order. The second character is Ö, an O with an umlaut; use the Ö wheel rather than a plain O if the markings distinguish them.

Why the machine does not show the door code
The cipher machine converts the Captain’s Code into a word; it does not display the numeric combination directly. The machine gives you BLUT, and the Code Table maps that word to 3666. If you have not reached the number, check that the wheels are in J–Ö–G–M order, that JÖGM is displayed in the upper row, and that you are reading the lower row for BLUT.
