What was the original release window?
In August 2024, Lucasfilm announced that the game would arrive first on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass on December 9, 2024, with the PS5 version planned for Spring 2025. PlayStation later narrowed that window to April 17. Lucasfilm’s original release announcement gives the earlier window.
Did any PS5 edition include early access?
PlayStation Blog said Premium Edition preorders could play up to two days early. Its announcement does not specify an exact early-access start time, so the “up to two days” wording should not be read as a guaranteed two-day period or a particular clock time. The standard launch date was April 17, 2025.

Is The Order of Giants the PS5 release date?
No. The Order of Giants is story DLC, separate from the base game. Lucasfilm gave the DLC a September 4, 2025 date for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass; it did not change the base game’s April 17, 2025 PS5 launch date. Lucasfilm’s DLC announcement lists its separate release date and platforms.
