Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is already out: it launched on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Game Pass on December 9, 2024, followed by PS5 on April 17, 2025. Bethesda now lists Nintendo Switch 2 as a platform as well. There is no upcoming release to count down to.
Release dates and early access
| Platform or access | Date | What it means |
|---|---|---|

What time did it release?
The official announcements establish dates and edition-specific early access windows, but not one universal release hour or timezone. Store unlocks can vary by platform, region, edition and service. For a specific storefront’s current availability, check the store page for your account’s region; the original launch date does not establish an exact local unlock time.
Where can you play it now?
Bethesda currently lists Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Its official purchase page links to platform purchase routes including Steam, Xbox on PC, Game Pass, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Check the relevant store for availability in your region.
Which edition should you choose?
| Option | Includes | Important distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | Base game | Bethesda lists physical Standard Editions for Xbox and PS5; the disc option is not available in all regions. See the official purchase page for current platform and regional options. |
| Premium Edition | Base game, The Order of Giants story DLC, digital artbook and Temple of Doom outfit | Listed by Bethesda on its purchase page. |
| Premium Upgrade | Premium content | Does not include the base game, so it is an add-on rather than a standalone game purchase. Bethesda lists it on the purchase page. |
| Collector’s Bundle | An 11-inch Great Circle globe with hidden storage, an Allmaker relic replica, jumbo SteelBook display case, adventure journal, and Premium Edition with game disc and premium content | A physical collectible bundle; check Bethesda’s official page for platform and regional availability. |
| The Order of Giants DLC | Story expansion | Can also be purchased separately and requires the base game, according to Bethesda’s purchase page. |
The former early-access windows are historical, not a current purchase benefit. On PS5, PlayStation Blog notes support for DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers; those are platform-specific features, not evidence that one version is universally better.
