The version and size above come from a public file index rather than a current official release artifact. They are useful for identification, but they do not prove that a local copy is genuine.

A 32-bit application needs the 32-bit DLL. A 64-bit application needs the 64-bit DLL. Installing both copies into Windows folders does not solve an architecture mismatch.

First, find the parent application

Before downloading or replacing anything, find which executable is requesting the file.

Check the error window

Write down:

• The exact error text
• The name of the game or application
• Whether the error appears at launch or after an overlay starts
• The folder shown in any file path
• Whether the error began after an update, mod installation, driver change, or security alert

The important architecture is that of the application process, not necessarily the edition of Windows.

Fix 5: Repair Windows components only when broader damage exists

Because indicium-supra.dll is third-party, Windows component repair is not the first choice. Use it when several unrelated Windows applications report missing or corrupted DLLs.

1. Open Start.
2. Type Command Prompt.
3. Right-click Command Prompt.
4. Select Run as administrator.
5. Run:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

1. Wait for it to complete.
2. Run:

sfc /scannow

1. Restart Windows.
2. Test the affected application.

Microsoft recommends running DISM before SFC. These commands repair Windows components; they do not download or recreate a private application DLL.
