The Infinix GT Book is a real laptop launched in India in May 2024—not a new 2026 announcement. Its top configuration combines a Core i9-13900H processor, GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, 32GB memory and a 1TB SSD, but those specifications do not apply to every GT Book. The most important detail for buyers is the GPU power rating: Infinix’s global page mentions up to 115W platform power, while Indian retail listings identify the RTX 4060 configuration as a 90W model.
That difference, along with configuration, upgradeability, stock and warranty status, matters more than the RTX 4060 badge alone.

The display is 16:10 and 120Hz—not a 2K panel
The GT Book has a 16-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, 300-nit peak brightness and Infinix’s claim of 100% sRGB coverage. The taller aspect ratio provides more vertical space than a conventional 16:9 gaming laptop, which can help with documents, coding, browsing and editing timelines.
Indian retailer and specification listings describe the panel as 1920×1200, commonly marketed as Full HD+. Infinix’s global page emphasizes the 16:10 format and image-quality figures without prominently presenting the resolution in its main specification summary. It should therefore not be described as a 2K or QHD display.
120Hz should make games and everyday motion look smoother than a standard 60Hz panel, while the claimed full-sRGB coverage is useful for mainstream creative work. However, the available specifications do not establish response time, ghosting, contrast, adaptive-sync support or factory calibration. A 100% sRGB claim is not proof of professional colour accuracy, and 300 nits is adequate mainly for indoor use rather than bright outdoor environments.

The flagship GT Book configuration pairs Intel’s 13th-generation mobile Core i9-13900H with an RTX 4060 Laptop GPU. The i9 is an H-series laptop processor, not a desktop Core i9. It can be useful for compiling, rendering, simulation, heavy multitasking and other CPU-intensive workloads, but its sustained performance will depend on the laptop’s cooling and power limits.

For gaming at the India-listed 1920×1200 resolution, the RTX 4060 is generally the more important component. It also has 8GB of graphics memory in the flagship retail listing. Nevertheless, the name “RTX 4060” does not describe one fixed level of laptop performance. Results depend on GPU wattage, cooling, CPU limits, graphics mode, drivers, BIOS settings, game settings and resolution.
The 90W-versus-115W power discrepancy
This is the GT Book specification buyers should scrutinise most closely:
- Infinix’s global marketing material describes up to 115W total design power for the platform.
- Indian Flipkart listings identify the RTX 4060 model as a 90W configuration.
The available sources do not fully explain whether the difference reflects regional configurations, terminology or documentation. It would be unsafe to compare the GT Book directly with a higher-power RTX 4060 laptop using the GPU name alone. Check the exact SKU and its stated GPU power limit before buying.

Cooling, battery, charging and portability
The GT Book uses Infinix’s ICE Storm 3.0 cooling system, with two 110mm centrifugal fans and a claimed airflow figure of 10.4 CFM. The company presents the platform as supporting up to 115W of total design power. These are manufacturer claims; they do not establish sustained clock speeds or long-session temperatures.
At 1.99kg and 18.9mm thick, the laptop is relatively portable for a machine with a discrete GPU. The 70Wh battery and 100W USB-C charging add flexibility, although the included 190W power adapter should be counted when considering travel weight. Infinix does not publish the adapter’s physical weight in the cited material.
The slim chassis is also a trade-off. It may be easier to carry than a bulkier gaming laptop, but a thin design can impose compromises in sustained performance, fan noise and temperatures. The Core i9 badge alone cannot guarantee desktop-like performance during long all-core workloads.

GT Book configurations: the i9/RTX 4060 is not the whole range
Infinix uses “up to” language for the processor, graphics, memory and storage. Indian listings identify at least three configurations:

The flagship listing’s 32GB memory and 1TB SSD should not be treated as standard across the family. Retail specifications indicate that the LPDDR5X memory may be soldered and non-upgradeable, so buyers should confirm the exact model before choosing a 16GB version for virtual machines, creative workloads or longer-term gaming use.
India launch date, price and availability
The GT Book was announced for India on May 21, 2024, with reported Flipkart availability from May 27, 2024. Pre-launch reports discussed a price below ₹65,000, but that expectation should not be confused with the eventual price of the flagship configuration.
A later Flipkart listing showed the Core i9/RTX 4060/32GB/1TB model at a reference price of ₹149,990. One retrieved listing marked the product out of stock. Marketplace prices, seller status, discounts and warranty terms can change, so ₹149,990 should be treated as a listing reference rather than a guaranteed current selling price or evidence of value in September 2026.

What to check before buying a GT Book
- Confirm the full SKU. Make sure the listing names the i9/RTX 4060/32GB/1TB model if that is what you want.
- Check GPU power. Look for the stated 90W or another power limit instead of relying only on “RTX 4060”.
- Verify memory upgradeability. LPDDR5X may be soldered, making the original RAM capacity important.
- Check storage options. Confirm whether the SSD is replaceable and whether a second slot exists.
- Verify the screen resolution. For India-listed models, look for 1920×1200 rather than assuming every regional SKU is identical.
- Inspect seller and stock status. Determine whether the unit is new, refurbished, imported, authorised or marketplace stock.
- Confirm warranty coverage. A Flipkart listing states one year of domestic onsite laptop warranty and six months for the adapter, but coverage should be confirmed for the specific seller, region and pincode.
- Check the box contents. Confirm that the 190W adapter is included.
- Compare the current price. A historical ₹149,990 reference price is not automatically good value against newer RTX 4050, RTX 4060 or RTX 50-series laptops.
Verdict: impressive specifications, but only at the right price
The Infinix GT Book’s top configuration remains attractive on paper: a 16:10 120Hz display, Core i9-13900H, RTX 4060, 32GB memory, 1TB storage, a 70Wh battery and a sub-2kg chassis. It could suit gaming, coding, editing and general productivity.
But the headline specification needs context. The i9, RTX 4060, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD belong to the flagship configuration, not every GT Book. The RTX 4060’s 90W Indian listing differs from Infinix’s global 115W platform claim, and the display’s response time and sustained thermal performance are not established by the supplied specifications.
Consider it only if the exact configuration is substantially discounted against newer alternatives, the GPU power limit is clear, the memory limitations are acceptable and local warranty support is confirmed. At a price close to ₹150,000—or when sold through an uncertain marketplace listing—the GT Book’s older platform and unresolved configuration details make comparison shopping essential.
