No—the reported free offers for Initial Drift Online on Steam and Bloons TD 6 on the Epic Games Store have ended. Giveaway reports put their deadlines at January 18 and January 15, 2026, respectively. The official store listings showed paid prices when checked on October 8, 2026, so anyone who missed the promotions should check the listings for current regional pricing.
What happened to the free offers?
The two games were giveaways on separate storefronts, not one offer shared between Steam and Epic. A giveaway roundup reported Bloons TD 6 free on the Epic Games Store through January 15, 2026, and Initial Drift Online free on Steam through January 18, 2026. A second archive marked both promotions ended, with its articles dated January 8 and January 13, 2026. These dates come from third-party giveaway reporting; the retrieved evidence does not include an official archived announcement confirming the campaign terms. Giveaway roundup posts Giveaway archive

The practical distinction is whether you claimed each game while its offer was active. The reports say a claimed game was added to the account library for the corresponding storefront. The promotions were separate, so claiming one did not claim the other.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.

Epic’s FAQ says the game has optional in-game purchases, including Monkey Money and gameplay items, while stating that core content is not locked behind a paywall. That is separate from a Fortnite gift-with-purchase offer also discussed in the FAQ: it requires a paid purchase and is not the January 2026 free-game giveaway. Epic Games Store FAQ
