Yes. ARC Raiders supports cross-platform play between PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. To play with friends on another platform, you need an Embark ID, and your party’s crossplay settings must allow it. Cross-progression is also supported, but Embark specifically lists Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for that feature.
Which platforms can play together?
The official ARC Raiders website describes social play across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, and lists Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and GeForce NOW as availability options.
Those platform names do not all appear in Embark’s stated cross-progression list. In its Embark ID FAQ, the company names Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for cross-progression. It does not make the same explicit cross-progression claim for Epic Games Store or GeForce NOW.
How to play with a friend on another platform
- Create or use an Embark ID. Embark says an Embark ID is required to play ARC Raiders and connects your progress, purchases, and friends across platforms.
- Use your Embark IDs to connect with the friend you want to play with.
- Check the party’s crossplay setting before matchmaking. Cross-platform matchmaking must be permitted by the party’s settings.
Embark’s FAQ describes the Embark ID account requirement and cross-platform play, but does not detail every platform-specific purchase or entitlement transfer.

What happens if someone in the party turns crossplay off?
Embark says the most restrictive player’s crossplay setting applies to the party queue. If one member has crossplay disabled, that setting can limit the party’s matchmaking. Embark also notes that enabling crossplay can help players find matches faster. The support article does not specify every platform-specific matchmaking pool or exception.

Embark’s PC and console matchmaking troubleshooting guide, last updated February 27, 2026, recommends setting the matchmaking region to Automatic. Also check that no party member’s crossplay setting is restricting the queue.

- Confirm the party’s crossplay settings allow cross-platform matchmaking.
- Set the matchmaking region to Automatic on PC or console.
- Try matchmaking again after applying the settings.
