Arcade1Up is still an active brand: its official store lists arcade cabinets, and Basic Fun! announced a new collection under its stewardship for Fall 2026. But the available information does not show that the original company continued unchanged, and the announced products should not be mistaken for products already on shelves.
Is Arcade1Up still making cabinets?
The brand remains active. The official Arcade1Up store currently lists several cabinet formats and products including OutRun Deluxe, NBA Jam Deluxe, Atari Centipede, Sonic, Galaga, Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man, Joust & Rampage, and Golden Tee. Store listings can change, so check the product page for current stock and price.
There is also a new collection in the works under Basic Fun!’s stewardship. In an announcement dated February 14, 2026, Basic Fun! said it had acquired select assets of the Arcade1Up brand in 2025 and unveiled a Fall 2026 lineup. That is evidence of ongoing brand and product activity—not proof that every announced machine has shipped or that the former company carried on unchanged.
What happened to Arcade1Up?
Basic Fun!’s announcement describes an acquisition of select assets of the Arcade1Up brand in 2025. It does not say that Basic Fun! bought the entire former company. Dan Westcott, Basic Fun!’s Senior Vice President of Global Brand Marketing, said the company was “honored to build on” Arcade1Up’s legacy. The announcement sets out the new collection and licensing context; the official press page also lists the announcement among its recent posts.

What is in the announced Fall 2026 lineup?
Basic Fun! announced PAC-MAN and Ms. PAC-MAN products, along with a Sonic home arcade debut. The release identifies Basic Fun! as the PAC-MAN home arcade anchor electronics licensee through an agreement with Bandai Namco Entertainment, and says the Sonic Supreme cabinet is part of a multi-year partnership with SEGA.

How to compare Arcade1Up cabinets
The store currently groups products into Deluxe Arcades, Supreme Arcades, Countercades, and accessories. The right comparison depends on where the machine will go and which games and features matter to you.
- Format and placement: Compare Deluxe, Supreme, and Countercade models for their form factor and the space available in your home.
- Games: Check the featured game and the number of included titles when the listing provides it; libraries vary by product.
- Controls and display: Review the product description for the controls and screen features included with that specific cabinet.
- Price and availability: Confirm the current price and stock on the product page, since store information can change.
The official listings describe the products; they are not independent hands-on tests. For example, the store names Sonic and Ms. Pac-Man products, but a shared brand name alone does not establish that two cabinets have the same controls, screen, game library, or availability.
