EA prohibits Cronus Zen use in Battlefield 6 when it is used to gain a competitive advantage, but its public statements do not establish a blanket permanent-ban policy for every user. EA’s September 2026 announcement concerned removing EA-related content and scripts; its game rules say bans require clear evidence of cheating. The exact penalty for a particular Cronus Zen detection—and how many users have been permanently banned—has not been made public.
Is Battlefield 6 banning Cronus Zen users?
EA’s August 28, 2026 Season 4 anti-cheat guidance names Cronus Zen among devices designed to avoid detection while providing a competitive advantage. EA also prohibits input devices that script multiple sequential or simultaneous signals or subvert intended aim-assist behavior. That is a rule against prohibited competitive use, not a published statement that every person who owns or uses the device receives the same penalty.
On September 10, 2026, Battlefield said EA had raised concerns with Collective Minds, the manufacturer of Cronus Zen and Strike Pack, about third-party tools enabling cheating across EA titles. EA said EA-related content and scripts were removed from public sites and the devices’ Discord server. The announcement describes removal of materials; it does not announce a universal permanent ban for Cronus Zen users. Read EA’s announcement.
Can you get permanently banned for using Cronus Zen in BF6?
EA’s public rules allow enforcement against cheating, but the reviewed statements do not specify a Cronus Zen penalty schedule. They do not say whether a particular case results in a temporary suspension or a permanent restriction, whether outcomes differ by platform, or how many accounts have received permanent bans.

What exactly does EA prohibit?
EA’s Battlefield 6 rules define cheating to include using third-party tools to secure an unfair advantage. The Season 4 guidance gives more detail: input devices that program or script multiple inputs, whether described as a macro, mod, or combo, are not permitted. It also identifies devices designed to evade detection while providing a competitive edge, including Cronus Zen.

The relevant distinction is the device’s competitive use, not merely the fact that someone owns the hardware. EA’s published rule focuses on tools and input behavior that create an unfair advantage; it does not publish an exception or a device-specific list of penalties. EA’s Battlefield 6 rules state: “We require clear evidence of cheating to ban a player.”
Does Battlefield 6 detect Cronus Zen?
EA’s guidance identifies Cronus Zen as a prohibited competitive input device, but it does not publish the detection method, detection rate for the device, or the number of Battlefield 6 accounts actioned for using it. EA also says player reports can help direct investigations, but reports alone are not sufficient evidence of wrongdoing, regardless of how many are received.

EA’s September 10, 2026 Javelin Anti-Cheat report lists ecosystem-wide figures: 20 titles protected, 57.1 million players safeguarded, 26.7 million cheat attempts prevented, 99%+ detection accuracy, a stability error rate below 1%, and 60% faster game launch times. These are EA-published measures for its broader anti-cheat ecosystem, not Battlefield 6-only or Cronus Zen-specific detection and ban counts. EA says it could issue more bans faster but risk false positives affecting legitimate players. Read the Javelin report.

- Review the penalty notice and identify the affected game and account, along with the stated reason.
- Submit an appeal through EA’s official ban or suspension appeal process. Explain why you believe the action is mistaken and include relevant details.
- Wait for EA’s review and follow any instructions in its response. EA says it maintains an appeals process but does not disclose case-review specifics because doing so could help people exploit enforcement.
EA requires clear evidence before banning, but it does not publicly describe how it reviews individual cases. An appeal is the official route for disputing a penalty; public reports or assumptions about a device do not resolve an account-specific case.
