Yes—Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is on Xbox Game Pass, but it did not release this week. Xbox added the game on July 24, 2024, for Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate. Cloud streaming came later, on October 25, 2024, for Game Pass Ultimate members. Current cloud-plan eligibility may differ by region, so check your local Xbox store.
When did Modern Warfare III come to Game Pass?
Xbox announced the addition on July 23, 2024, with access beginning July 24 for Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate. Xbox later described the game as having launched with Game Pass in July. The headline’s “this week” timing is therefore outdated, not a new release report.
