The official information conflicts across platforms and the developer’s own policy:
- Apple’s US listing: rates Dice Dreams 18+ and says it is intended for people 18 and older. The listing also labels frequent contests, loot boxes, advertising, messaging and user-generated content. [Apple App Store]
- Google Play: displays PEGI 3 and identifies in-game purchases that include random items. [Google Play]
- SuperPlay, the developer: says in its privacy notice, last updated November 10, 2024, “If you are under 18, you are not allowed to use the Services.” It also says an age gate may apply in certain games and countries; the notice does not establish how consistently one is applied. These labels and statements do not have one harmonized meaning, and PEGI 3 should not be treated as overriding the developer’s stated under-18 restriction. Apple’s listing is for the US; ratings and storefront details can vary by country, device and account. Check the current listing where you live, but take Apple’s stated intended audience and SuperPlay’s policy seriously when deciding whether the game is appropriate for a child.
Can a child spend real money in Dice Dreams?
Yes. Dice Dreams is free to download and play, but both major storefronts disclose in-game purchases, including random virtual items. Apple says purchases can buy virtual items for real money; Google Play describes purchases as including random items. Apple also labels the game as containing loot boxes. Google Play’s listing says select Rolls offers may use either Google Play billing or an additional in-app payment option. Set purchase protections before play

What social features, ads and content should parents know about?
The listings describe connecting with Facebook or friends, sending gifts, entering tournaments and competing against other players by attacking or stealing from their boards. Apple also discloses messaging and user-generated content, alongside advertising and frequent contests. These are disclosed features, not a guarantee of the exact content or moderation a particular child will encounter. If a child has already used the game
