ZERO on September 12, 2024. That original roster reveal was not new DLC: the game’s later Super Limit-Breaking NEO expansion added more GT fighters when it launched on July 30, 2026.

More GT fighters arrived with Super Limit-Breaking NEO
Bandai Namco’s July 30, 2026 launch announcement named five GT additions in the Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC: Super 17, Vegeta (GT), Trunks (GT), Nuova Shenron (GT), and Hell Fighter 17. Bandai Namco’s launch notice describes 33 new playable characters across Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, and Dragon Ball GT combined; 33 is not the GT-only count. Bandai Namco Europe lists the same five GT additions in its DLC announcement.
What the NEO DLC includes
The expansion adds more than characters. Bandai Namco lists four Episode Battles, four stages, new Extra Battles, and the solo Limit Breaker Journey mode. A free update released alongside the DLC and introduced gameplay mechanics including Sparking Boost and Chain Blast.
