How to check and claim an Epic Games Store giveaway
Epic’s standard giveaway program rotates free games weekly. Its support page says each offer is available for seven days, beginning Thursday at 8 a.m. PT, and that a game claimed during the offer remains in the account permanently. Epic also lists an Epic account with two-factor authentication enabled as a requirement. These are general program rules, not confirmation that EU4 is in the current rotation. Europa Universalis IV is a grand-strategy game in which you direct a nation through diplomacy, trade, colonization, warfare, and historical events. Paradox describes its historical span as 1444–1821, encompassing periods including the Renaissance, Reformation, Enlightenment, and Age of Revolutions. Does the Epic listing include EU4’s DLC?
The Epic listing has a separate section for DLC and add-ons, including expansions such as Art of War, Common Sense, and Rights of Man. Paradox also describes an EU4 Collection that includes the base game and DLC released through May 2017, including Mandate of Heaven. That cutoff means the Collection description is not a promise that it contains later DLC. Compare the included items and release cutoff before choosing a bundle. Its displayed minimum Windows specification is Windows 10 Home 64-bit, 4 GB RAM, and a GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5850; the recommended specification includes 8 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 560 Ti.
