Is Hello Kitty Island Adventure cross-platform?
It is available on PC and Nintendo Switch, but availability on both platforms is not the same as cross-platform play. Steam lists Online Co-op, while Nintendo lists online play for one to two players. Neither store page says that players on PC can join players on Switch. The listings therefore confirm online features on each platform, not PC-to-Switch multiplayer.

For the current cross-play status, the evidence available here does not support a definitive yes. A community wiki search result says cross-platform multiplayer is not supported, but that is secondary evidence rather than a current statement from the developer. Check Sunblink’s latest official announcements or support information before relying on cross-play for a purchase or play session.
Can PC and Switch players play together?
The Steam and Nintendo listings do not confirm that PC and Switch players can join the same game. Steam’s Online Co-op label and Nintendo’s online-play description apply to their respective storefronts; they do not, by themselves, show that the platforms share multiplayer sessions. Treat PC-to-Switch play as unconfirmed rather than assuming it works because the game is on both systems.

Does Hello Kitty Island Adventure have cross-progression or cross-save?
The store listings do not establish that saves can transfer between Steam and Nintendo Switch. Steam lists Steam Cloud, and Nintendo lists Save Data Cloud, but those are separate platform cloud features; neither listing says a save can move between a Steam account and a Nintendo account. If you plan to switch platforms, do not assume your progress will carry over.

What are the PC system requirements?
Steam’s listed minimum requirements for the PC version are Windows 10, 6 GB of RAM, DirectX 11, and 5 GB of available storage, along with processor and graphics requirements shown on the Steam store page. These are the store’s stated requirements, not an independent performance assessment; check Steam for the complete, current specification before installing.

What about cross-play between Switch and Switch 2?
That is a separate compatibility question from PC-to-Switch play. A Reddit post reproduces a message attributed to the game team’s official Discord about Switch 1 and Switch 2. It says separate builds following a Unity upgrade affected cross-play between the two Nintendo generations, and describes optimizing the original Switch version as part of a future path to restoring it. The post does not verify the present status, and its statement does not address PC-to-Switch compatibility. Reposted developer message on Reddit.

The game has store listings for PC through Steam and for Nintendo Switch. Steam’s listing provides the digital PC route; Nintendo identifies the other version as Switch software. Choosing the Switch version means playing on Nintendo Switch hardware, but that does not establish cross-play or save sharing with PC.
