The four Verified and four Playable labels are the classifications reported in that article, not the result of independent testing for this article. Steam Deck HQ CEO/Editor in Chief Noah Kupetsky characterizes the lineup this way: “Half of these games are perfect for the Steam Deck, while the others are all playable and enjoyable.” That is his editorial judgment, not a measured performance finding. Is it worth it for Steam Deck owners?
It depends on whether you want the games themselves, rather than simply how many carry a Deck label. The lineup spans action-adventure, platforming, strategy, and survivor-style games, but the available coverage does not provide game-by-game performance notes or individual game values. The labels alone therefore cannot establish how each title will run in your preferred settings or whether the bundle beats buying selected games separately.

Those are terms reported by the article, not independently confirmed current merchant terms. The direct October offer page could not be confirmed, and a Steam curator page refers to September Choice expiring October 7 rather than verifying October’s offer. Regional pricing, the exact terms, availability, and the October redemption deadline are therefore not established here.
