Lara Croft-related Fortnite news surfaced in 2025, but it did not confirm the return of her original Chapter 2 Season 6 Battle Pass outfit. Epic says ended Battle Passes cannot be bought or progressed. A later Lara cosmetic is a separate item, and whether one is available now must be checked in the live Item Shop.
Did the original Lara Croft Battle Pass outfit return?
No confirmed return of the original outfit is established by the available reports. Lara Croft was a reward in Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 6 Battle Pass; Epic’s support policy says ended Passes cannot be purchased or progressed. That means players cannot unlock the old reward by buying that expired Pass or advancing it now. Epic’s Battle Pass support guidance explains the policy.
What did the 2025 Lara Croft reports establish?
March 2025: a reported new shop outfit
On March 12, 2025, GameSpot reported that a new Lara Croft outfit was expected in the Item Shop, citing a leaker. This was a dated report about a prospective new cosmetic, not confirmation that the original Battle Pass outfit had returned or that the new outfit is currently listed. GameSpot’s report.
December 2025: Lara’s silhouette in an event announcement
Amazon Game Studios announced on December 8, 2025 that a Fortnite event revealed Lara’s silhouette. The announcement said Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics would share more about Tomb Raider at The Game Awards on December 11. It does not establish that the original Battle Pass reward returned or confirm present-day Item Shop stock. Amazon Game Studios’ announcement.

Could an old Battle Pass item appear in the Item Shop?
Epic’s August 7, 2024 policy announcement says that items from eligible future Battle Passes might be offered in the Item Shop after at least 18 months from the Pass’s expiration. Epic does not guarantee that any particular item will be offered. The policy lists eligible item types including Outfits, Back Blings, Pickaxes, Emotes, Instruments, Decals, Wraps, Loading Screens and Banner Icons. Read Epic’s policy announcement.
That policy should not be treated as proof that Lara’s older Chapter 2 Season 6 outfit will return. The announcement concerns eligible future Passes; it does not establish that this older reward is eligible or scheduled for the shop.

- Open Fortnite and go to the Item Shop.
- Look for the Lara Croft cosmetic you want. A new shop outfit and the original Chapter 2 Season 6 Battle Pass outfit are not interchangeable.
- Check the listing’s price and details in the live shop before spending V-Bucks. The available sources do not establish current stock or a Lara-specific price as of October 8, 2026.
Epic says the Item Shop rotates, and Player Support cannot grant items that are not currently offered. The Epic support page covers both the shop policy and ended Passes. The current Fortnite Battle Pass page lists its own price as 800 V-Bucks or inclusion with Fortnite Crew; that is the price of the Pass, not a Lara cosmetic.
