Before buying a collectible, read the individual listing closely for the maker, product name, condition, and whether it is a preorder. If authenticity is especially important, look for manufacturer or licensing details and compare the item with the rights holder’s or manufacturer’s product information. A product category or franchise name alone does not prove a particular item’s provenance.
What will shipping cost, and how long will it take?
Meccha Japan says shipping fees are calculated automatically based on the package’s weight and dimensions. The amount therefore depends on the items and destination; select your country on the site to see the applicable options and the most accurate displayed cost. The retailer says it ships worldwide, but that does not mean every carrier or service is available to every destination.

The FAQ gives a dispatch estimate of 3–7 business days. That is the retailer’s stated time to dispatch, not an end-to-end delivery estimate: transit comes afterward and varies with the shipping method. Current U.S. carrier restriction
As of October 3, 2026, Meccha Japan’s contact page says U.S. shipping is available through DHL and FedEx. It says Japan Post AIR, BOAT, and EMS services to the U.S. are temporarily disabled pending Japan Post’s decision about new U.S. customs tariff regulations. How do preorders affect payment and delivery?
Meccha Japan says preorder items are charged when ordered. If an order contains both in-stock products and preorders, the whole order ships once all items are available. If you want in-stock items sooner, place them separately from preorders.
The retailer also says customers cannot add items to an existing order and that separate orders cannot currently be combined. Plan the contents of each order before checkout: splitting an order may get available items moving sooner, but it means separate purchases rather than later consolidation.

Why can the displayed price change?
Meccha Japan says its prices are based on Japanese yen and its exchange rates update every 24 hours, which can cause small changes in displayed prices. It also says some regions are currency-locked. For items in high demand with limited stock in Japan, the retailer says prices can change more substantially. Check the price again at checkout rather than assuming a previously viewed display will remain unchanged. The FAQ explains its currency and pricing policy.
Could customs or import taxes add to the cost?
They may. Meccha Japan says local authorities determine customs fees and import taxes, and that the recipient is responsible for paying them. Procedures and charges vary by country, so the site’s item price and shipping quote should not be treated as a guaranteed final, tax-inclusive total. Check your local import rules if you need to estimate the landed cost before ordering.
