Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →GamesRadar+’s September 2026 review roundup, published October 1, brings together gaming hardware the team reviewed that month, from controllers and displays to chairs, laptops and VR. It is a record of that publication’s reviews—not a market-wide ranking or a head-to-head test of every product.
How to read the ratings
The star scores below are GamesRadar+’s ratings. The roundup does not provide a shared testing method or enough detail to compare unrelated categories on a single scale, so a five-star chair is not meaningfully “better” than a four-star controller. Use the ratings as a guide within each product’s category, then weigh platform fit, form factor, price and the specific strengths or drawbacks the roundup reports. Product names and ratings are from GamesRadar+’s September roundup.
Five-star picks
LiberNovo Omni Pro
GamesRadar+ praised the Omni Pro’s dynamic backrest, integrated fans, additional recline settings, easier assembly and improved build quality, and said its upholstery felt appropriate for the price. The tradeoffs are a very high price and limited color choices.
Orzly Carrying Case for Nintendo Switch 2
The Switch 2 case has a mesh pocket for accessories and room for up to 21 physical games, according to GamesRadar+. It comes in many colors and is described as affordable and often discounted. Its generous storage makes the case bulkier, and every color option has a black interior. Check the retailer’s current price and availability before buying; any discount shown on a page can change.

Choosing among the roundup’s hardware
Start with the category and the device you plan to use: a controller, monitor, laptop and VR headset solve different problems, and these scores do not compare them directly. Within a category, match the product to your priorities—such as console compatibility, desk or travel space, comfort, display or audio needs—and consider the reported drawback alongside the rating. The roundup gives a few concrete tradeoffs, but not full specifications or complete review details for every item, so consult the individual review and product listing for information you need before purchasing.
