Op 4 oktober 2026 meldde een externe monitor geen aanwijzingen voor een lopende PlayStation Network-storing. Dat is geen officiële bevestiging van Sony dat een specifieke storing is opgelost. Controleer voor de actuele status van accountbeheer, games en sociale functies en de PlayStation Store de officiële PlayStation-statuspagina.
Wat is er op dit moment bekend?
De beschikbare statuswaarneming van Entireweb is gedateerd op 4 oktober 2026 en weerspiegelt meldingen en monitoring op die externe dienst. Ze bewijst niet dat alle spelers probleemloos kunnen inloggen, en bevestigt geen specifieke storing of herstelmelding van Sony. De officiële PlayStation-statuspagina is de aangewezen plek om de afzonderlijke online diensten te controleren; de zoekvermelding daarvoor was echter maanden eerder gecrawld en vormt op zichzelf geen actuele statusmeting.
De aanleiding en datum van de storing in de titel zijn niet nader vastgesteld. Er is daarom geen betrouwbare basis om hier een storingsduur, getroffen regio’s of oorzaak aan toe te schrijven.
Zo controleer je de officiële PSN-status
- Open de PlayStation Network-statuspagina.
- Bekijk de status van accountbeheer, gaming en sociale functies en de PlayStation Store. Een storing kan een deel van de diensten raken zonder dat alles offline is.
- Als de statuspagina geen problemen aangeeft maar je nog steeds niet online kunt, controleer dan je eigen console, account en internetverbinding.
De Nederlandstalige PlayStation-ondersteuningspagina voor verbindingen bevat hulp bij het instellen en controleren van een PS5- of PS4-internetverbinding en verwijst naar verdere probleemoplossing.

PSN-status normaal, maar jij kunt niet verbinden?
Een melding dat er geen algemene storing is, sluit een individueel verbindingsprobleem niet uit. Controleer eerst of je console met internet is verbonden en of je account normaal werkt. Volg daarna de verbindings- en probleemoplossingsstappen van PlayStation. Als de officiële status later verandert, kan het probleem alsnog bij een PSN-dienst liggen.
Een eerdere storing: februari 2025
Een afzonderlijke berichtgeving beschreef een wereldwijde storing op 7 en 8 februari 2025. Volgens Sortiraparis waren online diensten rond 01.00 uur op zondag 9 februari weer beschikbaar. Het artikel meldde ook dat de oorzaak niet publiekelijk was uitgelegd. Dit incident is niet automatisch de storing waar de titel naar verwijst; zonder een overeenkomende datum of andere identificerende details horen die gebeurtenissen niet met elkaar te worden verward.
