There is no confirmed Game Pass addition. The rumor began when Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown appeared in the Xbox Game Pass storefront’s “Recently Added” section, but the listing did not allow installation. Xbox’s October 2025 announced additions did not include the game. That does not establish its current status in every region or membership tier, so check the live catalog before subscribing or buying.
Why did The Lost Crown appear in the Game Pass storefront?
On September 25, 2025, Insider Gaming reported that the game appeared in the Xbox Game Pass mobile app’s “Recently Added” section. The outlet said it could reproduce the display, but tapping the listing led to the regular game page, where installation was not available. Insider Gaming cautioned that it could be an Xbox error and said Xbox had not officially confirmed an addition. Insider Gaming’s report describes a storefront anomaly, not a release announcement.

What did Xbox officially announce?
Xbox’s October 8, 2025 Game Pass wave post listed announced arrivals and available titles without naming The Lost Crown. That omission applies to that announcement; it does not prove the game was never included at another time, tier, or region. Xbox Wire’s October 2025 announcement is the relevant official list.
