Roblox remained blocked in Türkiye in the latest status report located, based on a check reported as conducted on 28 September 2026. No official reopening date had been announced by then. That status comes from secondary reporting, not a direct BTK check conducted on 8 October 2026.
Is Roblox open in Türkiye right now?
The latest reported status is that Roblox remained blocked. Oyuneks said its check on 28 September 2026 found the restriction still in place; its article was updated on 1 October and said there was no official decision or date for reopening. This is a dated report, not confirmation from a BTK query performed on 8 October. Oyuneks’ status report.
In June 2026, reports that access had returned were disputed. Cumhuriyet reported on 20 June that a BTK site-information query still listed roblox.com as restricted, despite claims circulating that Roblox had reopened. Individual users’ reports of access do not, by themselves, establish that the restriction was officially lifted. Cumhuriyet’s 20 June report.
Why was Roblox blocked?
The restriction dates to 7 August 2024. Cumhuriyet’s report on the BTK query identifies it with Adana 6th Criminal Judgeship of Peace decision 2024/5282 D. İş. The original court order is not available in the cited sources, so the decision details here are attributed to Cumhuriyet’s account of the BTK result rather than presented as a direct reading of the order.
