The store descriptions present a monthly Fight Pass with free chests and coins. The paid subscription tier is described as providing premium cosmetics and bonus cards without ads. That makes it reasonable to ask whether paid rewards accelerate progression, but the listings do not specify current prices, the value of each reward, or how often a free player can earn comparable resources.
What is not established
The cited listings do not provide current shard odds, complete character-unlock requirements, progression timelines, or a cost-per-unlock estimate. Without those details, it is not possible to quantify how much a purchase shortens the grind or compare the long-term progression rates of free and paying accounts.

Can you progress without spending?
NEKKI, responding to a Google Play review on March 10, 2025, said: “You don’t have to invest money to win. The game hava a lot of free bonuses and rewards that you can get by completing tasks. All game modes give out rewards. With the help of these rewards, you can improve the characters.” The statement is the developer’s position; it is not an independent balance test or evidence that free and paying players progress at the same rate.
That claim is consistent with the store descriptions’ mention of free rewards, but it does not tell players how long unlocking characters or upgrades takes. If your main concern is avoiding spending, the available official information supports the existence of free rewards—not a precise forecast of what you can unlock, or when.

Why players raise concerns about matchmaking and unlocking
Some Google Play reviewers describe slow character unlocking or matches they consider unfair, and the listing includes a developer response saying matchmaking is being adjusted. These are individual reports, not representative measurements. They do not show that matchmaking uses hero level, that players are systematically matched against stronger accounts, or that payment caused a particular loss.
For players judging whether a match felt fair, keep the reported experience separate from a verified explanation of the matchmaking system: the cited store material does not explain its rules or publish results comparing match outcomes by spending level.

Why older advice may not match the current game
Progression and ranked systems change over time. The Apple version history records a quest-system rework and a change in 2025 under which watching an ad in any game section counts toward guaranteed shards claimable in Quests. Later update notes also mention ranked-season changes and a currency hub. How to judge a purchase before making it
- Check what it grants. Separate cosmetics from cards or other progression resources.
- Ask whether it changes capability or saves time. The store listings do not quantify how paid rewards affect combat strength or progression speed.
- Compare with free earning opportunities. The developer says tasks and game modes provide rewards, but the cited sources do not give rates or timelines.
- Check the current version and region. Store features and update notes can change, and the reviewed listings do not establish current region-specific prices.
Those checks can help clarify what you are buying, but the published information is not enough to calculate a reliable value per unlock or estimate time to max a character.
