Sonic Mania is not confirmed as an active Epic Games Store giveaway. The official Free Games page checked on October 8, 2026, did not list it among the current offers. Because Epic’s promotions change, check the official Free Games page for the live listing in your region.
Is Sonic Mania free on Epic Games right now?
Epic’s official Free Games page says, “Epic Games Store gives you a free game every week,” and displays the current promotional listings. The page captured for this article did not show Sonic Mania as an active offer. That means the claim that Sonic Mania is the latest free title is unconfirmed by Epic’s listing checked on October 8, 2026—not proof that it could never appear in a later promotion or in a different regional listing.

SEGA distinguishes Sonic Mania from Sonic Mania Plus on its official Japanese Sonic Mania Plus page. It describes Plus as a physical package with additional elements and also presents a deluxe package with soundtrack and art-book contents. Those physical-edition details are separate from whether a digital copy is being given away through Epic. The page does not establish current regional availability or pricing.
